Badshahi Masjid Lahore Documentary by Androon Lahore

Badshahi Mosque is the most prominent piece of Mughal Architecture in Lahore. Built in 1671 by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgeer, the Mosque is spread over an area of 6 acres and has 4 high Minars. It is considered to be the most beautiful Mosque made in the Mughal Era. The Mosque has 3 Domes made up of Sang e mar mar. It has been used as a stable by the Sikhs and as a military site by the British during their rules. Badshahi Masjid is truly the insignia of Mughal dominance in Lahore.
