You guy’s are great. I am so happy I found your channel. Keep up the good work. What set’s you guy’s apart from other quilting channels that I really like is, you get right to it and I don’t have to fast forward through anything. There is nothing to fast forward through.
I really like your teaching style. I tried to make the coin quilt when I first started quilting and it didn't come out very good. This was smarter and looks easier. I like the color coordination. I have made a couple of your projects. I am really proud of my ironing board. Still working on organizing my fabric and shelving. Thank you.
We are so glad you found the tutorial easy to follow. And we are so happy you have made some projects that turned out well. You should be proud!! 🎈✨🎉Let us know if we can help with your organization 😀 Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for this. I was having problems laying out a baby quilt set of charm squares. I saw this video and decided to modify my pattern to resemble something like this and it brought everything together nicely. Thanks so much.
Just found you on UA-cam! I'm really enjoying your quilts and tutorials. I would love to see the quilt stich pattern and the backing you chose. The quilt is beautiful. Keep up the good work!
I love you all’s videos especially the music in the background. It is very evident that you make them with thought. And I also like that you guys are men quilting! Special kudos to your mom💕. Hi from East PALo Alto California.
Love this! If it might help anyone, I find it easier to sew strips in pairs, then sew those pairs into pairs, and so on- switching which end I start sewing from to avoid any wonkiness. It keeps me from having to maneuver such a big strip set until later in the process. :)
Seeing this makes me wish I had not sorted ALL MY BALI POP STRIPS BY COLOR, should have kept them in the order they came in 😢. Love this project ✂️✂️✂️😊
As you can see we are behind on the replies. I am trying to catch up and stay that way. I hope you have found the answer to any questions you had and thanks for watching!
Could you make a bargello, i cant decide on the cutting of my strip sets. i love that you use a Janome sewing machine, i have 3 different ones one for class, one for heavduty, and the my big Horizon 8900 qcp for every thing else

Sewing those many strips together don’t you find you have bowing in the middle? I was taught not to sew more than four strips without turning and sewing in the reverse.

Really cool.
I'd do that too. Probably sew the small black strips to the small main strip. Then put them together. I love the colors. The quilt turned out great.

Great video. The right side of the quilt hanging up,, the strip set is not in the same order as the others; is that on purpose?
Patti Wolfe I think it may have just got flipped. Easy to do when there’s so many colors.

Unique rotary cutter...brand? Size?
Janet Hoffman Martelli brand 45 mm, they are sharp as heck.
We use Marelli rotary cutters! You can find them on sewyeahquilting.com
I use Martelli cutters. They feel so great in your hand. For me it really helps me to keep accuracy in my cutting
What Is length of Bali strip?
Carmen Cuevas Usually 42 to 44 inches.

Why didn't you square up both ends? On the first cut...
Thanks for watching! Because we are cutting the strips we didn't square up the edges. Either way works. Happy quilting!

Great video but the music (if you could call it that ) is most annoying! Makes it hard to hear you.
We'll work on it! Thanks for the suggestion.
I was actually thinking the same thing. It is necessary
