I’m a huge fan of spray foam. Had a new construction home spray foamed 18 years ago, and a shop done this past spring. Personally, I believe it’s like bonding or”gluing” everything together besides the insulation advantage. Everything is tighter and quieter. Have had no drywall cracks, creeking, insect or rodent infestation. Holds heat and cool extremely well. Do need adequate ventilation in a closed area, as the spray foam makes things extremely “tight”. Love your channel and commitment and execution of your work. Used your floor heating and heat source installation video (your sister’s garage) as a tutorial to do my own! Keep up the Great Content.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍
@9:30 I had a thought. The spray is to seal up the air penetration but it doesn't do a whole lot for pests small enough to get though the gap and tunnel into the foam. A while back I saw a thing called Termimesh that wraps around pipes that come up through concrete and prevents pretty much anything from ever tunneling through. I wonder if it would make sense to staple a similar mesh to the bottom edge of the grade board before putting it in place in a way that the edge of the mesh embeds into the concrete when it is poured. Dumb idea?
If you move fast enough and are about 8” off your target then I think what is on the can is pretty accurate. The hardest thing for me was moving at a fast enough pace. I think I was just watching the pattern and focusing on that. I did get it down fairly quickly though.
Looks like a great product! Thanks for sharing!

PPE - Scene Safety. Love the verbal confirmation. Ensures safety at all times.
Looks like the spray needs a couple of 12” extensions. Great video as always.

Can’t say it’s dumb until someone tries it and finds out.
Looking good Paul. Hey, I have a few Dewalt Work Stations that would look killer in your dog house?
so how many linear feet of foam per can do you think you were getting at the end when you felt the coverage was about right?
