Love FO76 1st. Love the game and community. BUT! FO is resource collecting game which Bethesda have bottle necked stash for cash. Im often dumping resources. If item are on display, such as armour on mannequins, the weight should be removed from your junk box. Ammo storage box is a blessing.

I think if it’s in your vendor or like on a gun wall or anything like the power armor display should be removed and have those displays have a max weight of like 25 for weapons 50 for the power armor displays

My take on Fallout 1st: Too expensive overall and almost necessary to keep playing past the first portion of the game (up to level 30).
While the benefits are quite good, the game feels like it has a chokehold on you for stocking up on supplies, yet I still find myself struggling with certain supplies (which I am actively fixing). I've came to the point where it is beneficial for me to ignore essentially every single heavy weapon I come across, even with having almost perk Card in Strength to reduce weight and increase my carry capacity. It makes the game very frustrating at certain points because I feel like I'm missing out on the more fun gear, just to make sure I can keep my materials.
Given the fact this IS a PAID game, I feel like the subscription should be at most a monthly subscription at $7.50 ($87.50 a year) or yearly at $72 (6$ a month), or somewhere in that ballpark.
These benefits feel like something that should be in the game from the start, or something similar. Maybe a "Scrap Box" with a set amount of storage that you can upgrade to hold more, or instead buy Fallout 1st to get unlimited.
If Fallout 76 was Free-To-Play, I'd understand the price, and honestly it would deserve more benefits, but the entirety of the subscription, from the price to the benefits, falls into a gray area from my point of view.
It feels like a solution to a problem that was caused on purpose rather than an upgrade, and the Atoms in the deal seem to just be there to inflate the cost of it.
For the added free content, while I do appreciate it, I feel like the Atomic Shop already is a great monetization source to make up for that.
I know things can't change to any measurable degree, especially years down the line, but I feel like it all should've been handled much much differently from the start.

I'm a player with over 4k hours in the game and have been playing since day one, and my wife has about 1500. We both do FO1, for a few reasons. The main one of course is to have that extra scrap and ammo space. It's an absolute necessity.
A big reason, though, is that we both adore the game, in spite of the issues it occasionally has. We're happy to give support in some kind of way to keep it going and help fund further development in it. The fact it comes with as many bonuses as it does just adds to the creamy filling.

The scrap box, tent, and monthly atoms made it worth it for me two years ago. Everything else is a nice added bonus. I would like kore stash storage room though. Then again I could not be such a horder. Lol

Love Fallout 76! I play almost everyday! Definitely worth it! Imo, Fallout 1st is over priced at 100bucks. 50-60bucks for the yearly & 10bucks for the monthly. Thanks for the video bro.

Without Fallout first, I'd be lost.
I remember the days of stash being 400 and struggling to collect items, having hardly no bullets because of the weight. Not able to really collect much, as your carry weight is rubbish, and the stash box at the time couldn't hold much.
Now I'm a junk hoarder. Thanks to the scrap box, I can collect more and more. And never run out. But I'm a charitable person and give junk to low levels, as we've all been there at some point.
It's the same now with the ammo box, I'm now not bogged down with bullets and can store all that I don't use. But again there, I make a lot of bullets and give to others, as I like to help.
Any unused ammo collected can be sold in the vending or saved up and given to newbies.
The tent is a godsend. And now some have a tinker bench, meaning can scrap any weapons picked up, dump scra in the scap box, and save a few legendaries in the stash box. If you have any meat, you can cook it at the tent/shelter thingy (technical term) and then able to just go about what you need to do to keep the wasteland clean.
I save up my atoms, as most bundles in the Atomic Shop go for 1800, and I ain't buying atoms (I'm a Yorkshireman, and we are known for being tight).
So I personally I do think Fallout 1st is value for money...

    • @P3nAlPineapple
      @P3nAlPineapple  Рік тому

Yeah back in the day with 400 pounds of stash it was incredibly difficult to hold onto things that you wanted to keep and even to this day with 1200 pounds I feel the same way 😅
The scrapbox has definitely helped with that issue though and I feel just with that feature by itself , you're already getting an awesome deal!
but as you said regarding the atoms , you're basically getting your money's worth in return to spend on whatever you want in the game and that's a nice option to have!

    Nice video overall.
To me personally it is worth because:
    1. Scrapbox (im hoarder)
    2. Private World
    3. Survival tent
    4. 1650 Atoms
    5. Custom world
    6. all other like discounts, rewards etc
But i can see why some people don't pay for it/ don't find it worth the price.

Im sub to fallout 1st is OP. Just the tent and scrap box make it OP. I can farm guns and items get walk out of the location over encumbered, place the tent for free, scrap everything and store and do it again. Not to mention private servers, where I claim almost all workshops in one go and just defend them to get endless amounts of items. Its a bit OP in terms of saving time and effort.

I pay for it each month every month because I play the game often enough to where it legit is a good thing to have, saves alotta time and just great in terms of camp building since you get a shit ton of atoms per month. Yes it's totally worth it if you are actually gonna play the game

  • @Lordoftheapes79

Honestly? You're basically buying 1650 Atoms per month and the rest is a bonus. FO1st is the best $$ to Atom ratio.

I used to subscribed, but when I canceled I lost access to some items that I purchased via the atom store or got free. Mainly the scrap box, etc. I really need the scrap box (s) etc. I asked if bethesda can make an exception for just the scrap and ammo box...nope. So I decided to delete my game from steam. I may return in a year or so, but honestly if I cannot access my scrap box (s) then to hell with fallout 76.

The deployable survival tent justifies the price alone (the connivence and quality of life difference cannot be understated in my opinion).
Scrap box is another boon, icing on the cake. And the monthly atoms are the cherry.
    All other perks, just sprinkles.

As a non-member, I can say that the game does take more inventory management. Not being much of a CAMP builder I make it work. Have a few, focused character builds, resist the urge to pick up all of the things and it is completely doable.
