"After singing Deepak Raag, Tansen felt that he is being cremating from inside. His Love -- Tani sang Raag Malhaar, requesting the clouds to come and rain to cool him down".
This spectacular song was created by one of the greatest music director Khemchand Parkash on the poetry of Pt. Indra Chandra. This is Khursheed Bano's greatest masterpiece. Her range and control is exceptional in this song. Perhaps, such songs are created once in a century.
I have added some audio and video effects like sound of thunder, lightening, clouds etc. in the original video.

My addiction to old classics started as a child listening to Radio Ceylon....when the last song would be a gem by KLSaigal.... that half hour nurtured my taste for old songs and even though I was in junior school then I developed a lifelong passion for these songs...thank you for the upload....
Coincidentally in my childhood i too used to listen to Radio Ceylon "Srilanka broadcasting corporation ka Vides Vibhag"in short wave frequency.

Consider the around 75 yr old song, it's quality may diminished.. recording technology was not advanced. Whole song might have been shot in one sitting in inferior quality recording room.
U have taken my appreciation as negative.I m nearly 70.This song was/will be my favourite first.

Khursheed Bano was elder sister of Meena Kumari (Mahjabeen).
Negative, it is just a coincidence that Mahjabeen's elder sister was also named Khurshid. Pl read Wikipedia on Meena Kumari. Khursheed Bano, the actress was 18 years senior to Mahjabeen and migrated to Pakistan in 1948, whereas Khurshid Jr. (as see was known to avoid the confusion) never left India and was at Mahjabeen's bedside in 1972.

Usman mahmood..this is not Meena kumari's sister and also khursid was younger than Mina,Mina was eldest of all so he had to shoulder responsibilities at an early age as an child artiste.
