Love this idea for a science vessel. I’ve just created a new scientist build and have been looking for inspiration for new ship. This fits the bill nicely, thank you, oh nicely narrated video too great job
I love the asymmetric "function over form" aesthetic. Definitely using this when I get to play Starfield, as I plan on running a scientist playthrough first time!
You can have npcs stationed in the ship. It is similar to previous bethesda games, you can always have one npc follow you around. However what is different is that you can station npcs at a ship (or outpost) and swap the active (follower npc). While keeping others on the ship. The amount of npcs you can have ona ship is limited to 4 at the beginning. Also there is 3 types of npcs that can be on the ship. The "named" npcs with their own backstories, then the "unnamed" crew you can hire, which are named "weapons specialist", and passengers that are on your ship that you transport to different locations. The unnamed crew and passengers have some basic voice lines and will respond to your presence, the named npcs have their own dialogue options.
"expensive" 8000 credits.. My engines are 35k each and four of them barely push it.. Maybe I should hoard less though xD The ship looks a bit like a Drake Caterpillar from Star Citizen. Quite interesting, well done!
The way I play, I almost never have 10k credits. I play on very hard, so fighting other ships is very hard and I spend money on upgrading the systems to survive, and ground combat eats a lot of ammo.
@celanis7164 If you play the game for the dynamic gameplay (perhaps after beating the story) I recommend to play on very hard, because otherwise many of the dynamic systems do not have much gameplay use. For example if combat is too easy, then you won't require to make use of various research to get an advantage.

Fantastic build.
My wish would be a bigger version for deep space exploration.
Really liking the style of your builds
Thanks, I would like the game to have more varied cockpits
*slaps hood*: you can fit SO much science in this baby!
Beautiful ship, well done
Thanks!
Enjoying this series.
super nice. i like it :)
I love the asymmetry it looks so fuckin good
Yeah I’m ocd
Super nice design Cheers!
It's ridiculous that this game doesn't have the ability to export and import blueprints
beautiful design.
Thanks!
Really nice design.
Looks really good! Is there a way to make it more lively inside? Aside from maybe two flollowers? I dont own the game yet.

@@caracal3892 I respect that. I tend to do story games on easy. I seek the thrill of a challenge in other ones c:
