Kinda sucks feeling that sort of helplessness, that feeling that no matter what you cant do anything to make a meaningful change in the world. I know it sounds delusional but I still think we have the chance to make a change together.
That Thailand kids who trap in cave is garbage not interesting at all, they not belong here. There are lots of tragedies who are more dangerous than that and hundreds killed.
This is the only video that sums up 2018 in my opinion that wasn’t just because the channel wanted to get out a video in time, but because they wanted to make a decent video

Her whole testimony had MANY holes in it, even the people she tried to use in her defense said differently to her statements or said they didn't remember. She didn't remember the year, day, time of day, how she arrived at the party, how she got home from several miles away, who attended etc. She may have had trauma, but her lack of memory should make people doubt her remembering it was Kavanaugh and not some other person. There is no evidence to back her up, so why are you so sure she is right? Because she was emotional? Many people can make themselves cry on demand, am I saying she is one such person? No, I'm just saying its a skill people have and should not be used as a validating factor. Also if you look at Kavanaugh's history there is nothing to hint at him acting like this, Ford's statements seem to be completely contradictory to Kavanaugh's character as a person.

The first line of the video sums the year up:"Despite the chaos and confusion in our world, I see winds of hope blowing around the globe".
I totally agree, but it's weird that they left out Stephen Hillenburg and Stefan Karl. Those were huge deaths that affected a ton of people, including myself.
True but only if we change our behavior soon. We're finally in an era where we can fully destroy our species, our environment or our societal norms. If the wrong moves are made this could be the worst era in human history. That being said I'm still pretty hopeful. Even if we fail in this generation things have and always will get better over time.
Compared to the horror years of 2014-2016, 2018 was a positively brilliant year, especially to people outside the Anglosphere, who didn't have to deal quite so much with Trump or Brexit.
