In America maybe. But in Australia, at least in my state of Queensland we only had a month of quarantine because our government got it under control pretty quickly.
Chills. That's what I felt watching this video. 2020 skewed our perception of time in a very powerful way. The beginning of it seems like it was just yesterday and at the same time a lifetime ago. And going through school in 2020 felt eery, otherworldly, intense, procedural. There is no way to fully describe it. 2020 the year that will never be forgotten.

so it’s 2023 now, i guess. it’s technically been 3 years now since the beginning of 2020. and i’m not gonna lie, i’m scared. i’m scared because time is moving faster than ever before. 2022 was truly the quickest year i ever experienced. while as 2020 was the longest. and quite frankly, i do miss it. although we were trapped in our houses for a year. some of my best memories are in 2020. you see, before 2020, my life was constantly stressful and always changing. but once the pandemic hit, it really gave me a chance to just sit and calm down. and just notice the things around me. so although 2020 was terrifying in some aspects, it definitely had its good moments. i genuinely enjoyed that year, and knowing i’ll never be able to go back to it is scary. time is really powerful, as they say.

There were so many bad things I almost forgot about some of them.

so it’s 2023 now, i guess.
it’s technically been 3 years now since the beginning of 2020. and i’m not gonna lie, i’m scared. i’m scared because time is moving faster than ever before.
