Interested in more information about those mammary tumors, we found one just like that in one of our girls. 3.5 years old. Our vet saw it and said they felt ovarian cysts in her and her sister and gave an injection of Choluron (Gonadoreline).
Who knows for how long the poor little guy has had that growing back there. I bet with only local anesthesia that could be taken off. Although he has those ugly mammary tumors too. Enjoy your days without pain and very comfortable little man,
guinea pigs shouldn't really go under as it's dangerous for them, they should only go if it's absolutely necessary, especially an older piggy because they might not make it, since he's old and it's not bothering him it's best to just leave it alone, it's not worth the risk

Benign tumors are common in older guinea pigs but that one is quite large he might need looked at by a vet

Oh I would take that off ... too much chance of it getting scraped or infected. Hard though with the other tumours. Poor piggie. I never had a piggie with a tumour. One once with an abscess that looked like a tumour... we had it removed and she was great... lived two years longer. Died at eight and a half.
