Poor baby...let's not shame the owner. We all know how quickly our little rodent friends can get into trouble. I'm glad that you were able to give him a trim and get him eating. I bet after a round of antibiotics he'll be feeling like his old self again.

My sister puppy refused to eat once. She was so worried that the puppy had issues with dog food. But when i check the mouth i saw it puppy teeths were very loose. I knew it was hurting him so i remove them. After that he ate fine again.

I love this channel Saskia is so amazing she has the understanding of an angel. Some of the rescues are so hard to watch I would have to say something but Saskia keeps her cool and never loses her temper she's an amazing lady bless you Saskia xxx. I would love to adopt a guinea pig from you but a couple of things I'm all the way over in the UK and secondly the flat I'm in is small just big enough for myself so it would be cruel to say the least, poor little piggies ❤. I will donate at the end of the month when I get paid it's the least I can do.

It seems like he's cooperating better as the video goes on, like he's realizing, "Okay, so, they do the thing, my mouth feels better. Maybe I should let them do the thing!" Not trying to anthropomorphize, but I think there was a cause and effect realization going on here.

I think that poor little chap has probably forgotten about how to eat different things! He has hardly any fur! I wonder why and how he got like this, and who let it happen?! I love Guinea pigs! Until watching this on several different occasions, it has been a revelation, I didn’t know about the pouch, and these people are so wonderful with them! All props to them, they’re amazing!!❤

When she started trying to feed him I understand his hesitation It most likely hurt to eat so he associated food with pain and discomfort. Once he realized he could eat he became a little pig he also had to relearn how to eat.

He is a naturally hairless guinea pig. This particular breed is called a "skinny" 😉

The background music isn’t necessary! The natural noise where you are is perfect for these! But if you want the music can you turn it down a little? It’s too loud for the video. Just a suggestion

If you wrap him in a towel with his head out then it reduces their ability to move, wiggle etc by alot and helps distress the animal.

Yes and we did. We use diluted Peroxide. Owner was recommended to visit vet for antibiotics.
