@@sven9900 yes... all handheld weapons in star wars fire plasma or particle beams. weapons that are FAR more powerful than the common weapons equipped by the guard. This battle honestly should have been like the Tau vs the gasmask boys. Thats how advanced star wars weapons are compared to a standard imperial guard regiment. Tau/clones should easily beat Krieg like 8/10 times.
The only advantage the imperium has over the republic is in ship weaponry. Which even that is questionable. Since Star wars use Hyperdrives which in themselves can be weaponized and destroy an entire fleet of ships.
@@bizbe4465 a blasters bolt mostly known goes at the same speed as the top speed of a ww2 willys jeep, so basically a e11 blaster bolt can fires a tiny willys jeep thats currently on fire
@@sven9900 that's just going off of the movies and shows. Which if we are doing that. Star wars and 40k are about equal in speeds. They need to be slow projectiles in order for us to see it well enough.
In comics blasters fire much much faster. Same in novels. Similar to how battle in 40k novels are depicted at blinding speeds. Ciaphas cain as a single example has been hit before he could even react. Same with people in star war novels.
Star wars guns are essentially just slightly weaker tau weapons. Which a standard tau can injure a space marine. Because they fire weaker plasma based weapons.

The smaller ones are Leman Russ battle tanks and I believe the other ones are some variant of a Malcador tank, although it might be Macharius. My Imperial Guard tank knowledge isn’t the greatest beyond the knowledge of most of the basic chassis and Chimera variants.

Yes and no, The Kriegs use more powerful guns than the clone troopers, the normal lasguns can rip off limbs and go thru concrete against a normal human being and materials something the D15 blaster doesn't seem to do so, and the gun of Kriegers it's a more powerful version of the lasguns.
Universal armour it's not needed when most of your troops will die anyway against something far more bigger so better gear them to make them survive before combat since you will have always the numbers at your favour.
The kriegers it's not made of conscript they all have the same training since they were all born the same way after all not for nothing they are called "Army Made of commissars".
The Kriegers commissar DO NOT NEED to execute soldiers of Krieg, their morale it's always high and they only need to keep them from doing suicide charges due to the sacrifice ideology, so yes a Krieger will for certain kill you without doubt than a clone troopers once it have you on sight.
Krieg barely needs inquisitorial check, having an army of guys that will literally die for the emperor while killing their enemies and have a smile of their faces make these guys an army that doesn't have a chance to become heretic and fail on the claws of the xenos and Chaos, and the fact that these guys kill everyone that could be a traitor or a heretic.

That is the imperial guard in general, some of it doesn't really apply to Krieg. For the clones it really depends on which legion you are talking about.

can we appreciate the fact the stormblade clearly was teleported into battle? there is no other way it got frozen in that rock LOL.
Vehicles have problems with pathing and terrain detect in the mods ... I think someone released an improvement mod, but that might have only applied to the stock vehicles. You can see the bugging with that Land Raider-looking vehicle that does a 180 to face the flag while there's a ton of clones behind it afterwards too.
I've watched a few of these videos now and it all seems like the Warhammer side always comes across as overpowered. For example just one tank is winning them the battle.
The mods are balanced differently, the WH40K mod I think is deliberately OP because mass body counts and slaughter are a mainstay of the WH40K universe, whilst the Star Wars Universe is a lot softer.

Yeah the heavy armor in Star Wars looks cool but it's incredibly slow and unwieldy and would be significantly easier to disable while being harder to field repair. So major disadvantage there.
Thing is it's considerably more durable than it looks like, they have to shrug off plasma weapons as a standard. No bolters, no lasguns just plasma.
Not enough shovels were used.

Я уверен, что для СМ2 понадобится современное железо. На старом игра идти не будет, так как когда игру не делают на консоли прошлого поколения, а выпускают только на новом - это означает, что будут очень высокие системные требования. Что касается меня, я тоже очень жду эту игру, буду играть в нее и записывать на PS5.
Технически они хоть и клоны, но они не клоны одного и того же человека. Да они даже и не клоны технически. Если я правильно помню на Криге используются специальные технологии, которые используют несколько одинаковых генетических кодов и проводят быстрое взросление в спец-баках (как и клоны). Но на Криге все ещё остаётся население - следовательно несколько полков все ещё абсолютно обычные люди.
Угу. Не так много знаю про Криг, но если не ошибаюсь, то у них есть несколько генетических шаблонов для клонирования и все - генетические "потомки" зачинщиков восстания, что превратило Криг в... Криг который мы знаем. Мол, это своего рода их кара: умирать, умирать и снова умирать на благо Империума, против которого они посмели выступить.

The only thing I see that doesn't fit here is that the Death Corps would first work on entrenching themselves to give them superior cover, but that's the only thing I can point out due to the limits of the game.

Really wish the method of making this work was added to the description. I start an AI match as an observer, have one faction be Clones and the other Imperial Guard, but either it crashes or nothing spawns.

I think from a lore perspective the clones would win 9/10 battles against the Kriegers. Both parties believe they're expendable and not important enough to value their lives and they're a lot on both sides. However the Kriegers aren't capable of complex strategy or planning on their own opting to literally march to their deaths. Whereas the clones are capable of complex strategy and quick plan adjustments. Seeking to win so as to fight in the next battle.

The Empire was actually much larger than the Imperium in terms of territory and population and in terms of technology if not raw war industry they have a pretty distinct advantage. Space marines would certainly present a shock factor in the opening stages of a conflict but there are definitely many ways that the Star Wars galaxy has from the different eras to counter them

However I'm absolutely confident in saying you need to know more 40k lore, a single space marine chapter would present a unique tactical challenge to the entirety of the SW universe. If you then toss in the Imperial Guard, the Adeptus Mechanicus, The Sister Sororitus, the Ordo Assassino, the Inquisition, The Death Watch, Titans, The Grey Knights, and machines of war from the Forges of Mars. You get a very bleak outlook for SW.
Bear in mind this isn't even being fair to the Imperium of Man, we're putting them against the entire SW universe. This is one faction, if you were to add in all of the xenos and demonic factions it's overkill, laughable overkill like dropping a hand grenade into a barrel of fish

As someone who’s read nearly the entire Horus Heresy, all of Dark Imperium and most other 40k books as well as most of the Star Wars Expanded Universe and all of the cannon Novels I can confidently say that the only way you get a bleak outlook for the Star Wars universe, especially the Empire or post Empire governments in legends is if you don’t realize the scale of the Star Wars galaxy and how little you see of it on screen and how logistically fucked the Imperium is and how fasts Imperial bureaucracy is compared to that of the imperium

Not only to me but to yourself, these videos have given examples time and again what the galactic empire can achieve against a fraction of a single factions military might. It's ok to like SW, it's not ok to lie about your favorite universes in some Napoleonesk martyr complex. The Imperium wasted untold numbers of men and resources over not being able to cooperate with other species. The Empire is made up of 1.5 million worlds compared to the Imperium’s million, the imperium has denied itself the use of real AI unlike the Star Wars galaxy, and The star was galaxy has the ability, willingness, and ability to rapidly innovate.

Always love seeing these sorts of battles for the sheer carnage and scope but feel like the setup is always wrong for the Clone Troopers. Their vehicles were designed to go over various types of hard ground so most of which had light to medium armor for carrying capacity on transports, speed, not typically heavy main turret guns to minimize collateral to surrounding buildings and wildlife, and maneuvering. The infantry side of things preferred medium to close ranges of fire for precision kills limited variety of special weapons unless they were special units or in a standard platoon formation, and commando teams for direct target strikes. Whereas the imperium vehicles prefer heavy armor, larger guns, specialized weaponry for mass destruction, and going straight to the foes in large open fields of overlapping fire. Infantries take medium to long ranged weapons to keep the opponents at a distance as long as possible and special weapons become a far more common thing for each formation.
This to me does seem like a bit of a rant but I really do like both of these cultures and want to see them both given some fair and proper justice. Do you think I'm wrong on any of these things and what is your take on it all on what can be done in the future?

It wouldn’t last long. Lasgun’s have a much higher energy output than Star Wars blasters and don’t dissipate on impact. Lasguns are actual lasers that continue forward so it’s either you stop it or it keeps going.
@@jaythekid4728 that is not true, in both worlds exist autoguns and meanwhile in 40k the difference in power between autogun and lasgun are little in star wars that is not the case, blasters are superior. So probably blaster have a bigger punch (or at least doesn't have the same problems with armor like lasguns) but still are worse weapons as they doesn't have so big logistic advantages
@@kaleonpi standard anti personnel blaster rounds don’t penetrate through clone and storm trooper armor. The armor they wear is designed to dissipate the heat as the blaster rounds are plasma so they are knocked down from the kinetic energy but the heat doesn’t penetrate the armor. 40k lasguns are literally laser rifles of continuous energy waves that will slice through storm trooper and clone armor. Tyrianid armor is stronger and can resist lasguns rounds.
@@kaleonpi also Beskar can only resist a certain amount of energy before the heat becomes too much. The same way Djin’s armor almost broke when in prolonged contact with the dark saber.
@Jay ThEkID You are totally true about clone and stormtrooper armor. Now, I think that the lasgun is unable to dealt that easily with that armor. Now, the problem is that those weapons are so different as you are explaining that I simply don't know how they could interact (I only can compare cases and suppose, which is not accurate, so I will summarize it saying that the lasgun shouldn't be able, at least to slice easily through that armor)
The random friendly fire looks janky but this is nevertheless very impressive.
