I haven't been able to find balmoral button boots yet.

Sure you're right, but this is a bit too much for me. I do have one horse hair brush for all my various shade brown shoes, though. And one for my two black shoes. Yes. One pair. Guess I'm not very formal. 😇
Two is better than one! Thanks for sharing
Lousy video - Piss poor preparation makes poor performance.
Thanks. I also use a pig bristle brush. It was recommended to me long time ago. What do you think of them?
Never actually tried one so would be curious to see how they work
@theshoesnob_official It was recommended to me for my brogues to get into all the little holes and make sure there's no build up of polish in there. But I wonder if they are a bit harsh. It's quite a stiff bristle. I think I'll try a goat hair brush though and see how the shine is. Cheers.
@@ForTheLoveOfSuits i see. Sounds more akin to a horsehair then for cleaning. Thanks for sharing
Hello, I love my pig bristle brush for my JF suede Wenatche Oxfords and all other suede boots and shoes. It is THE perfect suede brush in my opinion.
Most suede brushes do too much harm to the leather for my taste. The pig bristle makes my dusty suede Oxfords look almost new. The pig bristle is also great for a pair of really dusty calf skin shoes.

it is strange I get a better shine with my horse hair brush than with my goat hair brush. I think these brushes need to "get broken in" before they will work perfectly. My goat
hair brush is pretty new, maybe that is the reason why the shoe looks after working on it with the goat hair brush more "gloomy" instead of "shiny".
Interesting. But yes I do think there is a "break in" period for most brushes, as you say.

Sometimes I forget to screw my head on 😂
