The Kirby Allison pig bristle brush is my favorite. I also have the Kirby Allison large horsehair brush and have to say they are a pleasure to use and very much worth the price.
I think your Yak hair brush deserves a mention - probably the best to give a final buff of your shoes. Definitely one of the only sources of Yak brushes anywhere in the world!
Hey Kirby, I guess you need to distinguish your brush from the rest by etching 100% Horse tail hair which makes buyers guarantee that they are buying a quality product. These days every merchant in the shoe care business market their shoes saying 100% Horsehair where they mix tail and mane hair. Just my thought.
Hi Kirby, I have a lot of issues when applying the cream polish to black shoes, in which whenever I leave it to dry or when I’m buffing with a shoe brush, a large amount of small dust, hair etc always stick to the polish and I have to restart. Do you have any tips to compensate for this? I’ve been applying the polish and buffing in front of a heater (because it’s winter for me), but I’m not too sure if this is good for the polish’s natural drying.
How many of these brushes and which ones should I get if I have a pair of burgundy cordovan boots, black Capote oxfords, light brown derby, and a pair of Chelsea boots in a lighter calf leather? Thanks.
No mention of the beautiful Yak Hair Brush. The one to be greatly desired

Great video as always. I look forward to trying out one of your pig bristle brushes.
Excellent!
Beautiful brushes its a pity you do not have a supplier here in the UK customs stop everything coming from the USA to much custom duties.

What happened to the yak brush??
I'm willing to bet that it'll get its own video.
Cigars please 😉
Someone please let this man know You should always use the back of your hand when you fan the bristles never palm down. “Proper shoe etiquette please”
Hey Kirby, can I use the same brush for brown and burgundy shoes, or should I use different ones?
I’d probably use a single brush for black / burgundy and keep browns separate.
Thanks for the quick answer!
@@kirbyallison And also I guess this applies to the daubers as well?
