To update anyone watching this video there have been revisions made to the Modalworks intakes and now they fit snug with couplers where previously it was carbon to plastic. There have also been changes to the fitment. In case anyone is interested I just installed them on my E53 AMG Wagon and they sound amazing and fit great. Car definitely gained more power!
Do you have a stage 1 ECU remap, or is your car stock? I would be interested to install this one on mine, but it's not tuned. So I was wondering if it would still make a noticeable difference power wise.
I know 2 people who had these and sold them. The fitment is garbage, the 0-ring gasket on the turbo inlet doesn't seal against the carbon tube. Plus you just went to a open pod design,which will eventually heat soak. They look nice, but for 1k I would have went to LEM or mst for less.

Yea I actually cancelled when I seen the other UA-cam install, but they convinced me that it would be 100 percent install , it saves me some gas also

@@rarewitit7899 so the turbo inlet section fits nice and tight? (Where you know the rubber ring is slightly rubbing against the carbon tube wall)
