Thank you. I was hoping this video would solve my frustrations, but I have had mine set up this way all along. When I delete messages on my phone, they still show up on my Mac. I'm somewhat new to the Apple world and I'm surprised Apple doesn't have this solved. I'm loving my Apple devices but honestly, the whole eco system that everyone keeps bragging about is really lacking in a few areas compared to Android, and message syncing is one of those areas
Thank you for the video. I did do all of the step but it did not fix my issue. I have 1 group chat that has Apple and Android users on it. I have had for years with no issues. About 2 months ago the chat for some reason has broken into 3 different ones. Sometimes it comes up in the one I have planned others times the chat comes up down on the sire with all the unpinned ones. When some respond their responses go sometimes into the pinned chat that I have had for years while others go into messages.
I haven’t had this problem as such Dylan, the problem I’m experiencing in iOS 18.3 is I don’t have the Send Later function available. I noticed this on Friday morning in iMessage as I was composing a message to be sent to someone at a later time that day but I wasn’t able to do that. Is it a glitch or am I not turning a particular setting on? Great and very informative video 👍🏻😊
These are less of an issue for me. The big issue that imessage does all the time to me and others I know is that with group messages that include android users it will make a new message group as iff the named group message doesn't exist. Sometimes this lasts for hours , days, and sometimes weeks. It is super annoying and seems to have only started with Apple started the RCS stull. It is crazy annoying.
My email address wasn’t showing until now. Problem is that my 16 Pro Max won’t let me have BOTH phone number and email checked. Now what? Whisper in my ear, PLEASE!

Do you have a solution for getting duplicate messages in a group text?
