Waow!! So sweet of you to share this video, have been looking for how to sew a duvet cover without pattern and this teaches me all I needed to know. God bless your handiwork
I have been working on a duvet cover with a scalloped edge. When I saw your you tube, I viewed it with particular interest! When I saw your other you tube offerings, I subscribed immediately! Can't wait to see them!
Every video that I watch makes me say #wifegoals #momgoals. I though that I was pretty creative and crafty but girl you have me beat by a mile! I want to just come hang out with you for a week and soak up all of that knowledge!
You are rediculously talented, I love your videos and am posting them to Pinterest and FB. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and knowledge with us.
Very cute duvet cover. Just FYI that the top part is supposed to be the bottom. Most people in here use duvet cover and never a quilt as it’s European culture and the tie parts are the bottom. The top part is supposed to be the smooth side. Otherwise the duvet itself would get dirty with your hands or mouth part where the duvet itself which is exposed constantly on contact with your hands or mouth and it gets dirty. Your duvet tie is always on the bottom.
Aww, your cover is sooo cute! I really want lol What would be the sizes for a double bed? Edit: looking your channel, you are really multitalented, I wanna be you.
Farmhouse on Boone You are so confident! You just cut around shapes and sew it down and it comes out beautifully! I need to eat back into sewing. Just read your blog post about hurrying up to decorate a house without thinking of it cohesively and getting free things from people... boy is that where I’m at now. Can’t wait to change things up! I know now at 33 what my actual taste and style is but I decorated at 18 with no clue and free stuff!
I'm assuming these duvets were for twin sized beds? Do you happen to know the cut patterns for queen as well? Would very much like to use your tutorial for a queen size duvet.
Hello from the UK, I’m finding your videos so inspiring and I love the simplicity. Where do you get fabric from? Natural fabrics seem so expensive in uk x
Hey, Thank you so much. I bought the from fabric from Spoonflower. You can find links to the fabric I used in my blog here farmhouseonboone.com/farmhouse-on-boone/how-to-make-a-duvet-cover/ I hope that helps!
Nice project! Would love to make one for my daughter to fit her full size bed we just purchased. Would you have measurements for a full and a queen. I also purchased drop cloths to make a slip cover for our couches. Would you have any tips for a cover with slits for parts of the couch that flip up for feet. Thank you
LOVE the video and instructions but that MUSIC is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO annyoying!!!!!!!! It wasn't needed and even worse it got loud in between the talking. Thank you for your video and wonderful instructions but next time you may want to re-think the music.
Hi Lisa- you know a person is a "class act" when they receive criticism/feedback and respond so graciously. Keep up great work and videos. -anamaria in calif.
Sooo sweet! I’ve been a seemsress and Quilter for 50 years. I so love your relaxed approach to creating such lovely things for your home and family

Just start changing it out slowly to fit your style. :) I have been sewing for quite a while now, so I'm pretty confident. ;)
Darling! Thanks!
Such beautiful fabric❤
Wish you lay out a diagram of how each side of fabric is later out for a duvet. I like how you showed how you attached the ruffle.
Lovely!
So adorable 💕💕 would you happen to have queen size measurements ?

Spoonflower is pretty pricey. Any options that are less expensive that you’d recommend?
LOVE LOVE LOVE

The measurements are dictated by the comforter that you are using to fill the duvet cover! Once you realize that, it simplifies everything!
Beautifully done. They turned out so pretty. Did you use vintage sheets for the tops?? It's such a pretty pattern
Hey Robin! I chose this fabric because it looked vintage, but no, it actually came from spoonflower.com. I have it linked on the blog post. :)
What kind of fabric are you using..thanks
I love it 💗 !😊 do you also sell this Duvet covers? Let me know, am interested😊 like all your videos.😊 God bless you and your family.
what was the size of this duvet? a queen? 0:37 it looks like a twin but I wasn't sure
Yup! It was a twin size :)
your sewing is so nice but why don't you use a rotary cutter and mat for faster and more accurate cutting?
I never really thought about that. Maybe I should.
LOVE the video and instructions but that MUSIC is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO annyoying!!!!!!!! It wasn't needed and even worse it got loud in between the talking. Thank you for your video and wonderful instructions but next time you may want to re-think the music.
Cindy Smith I've heard that a lot, so I don't put music in my newer tutorials. Thanks for the tip!

Cindy Smith I like it!
I actually do like the upbeat music on this one Lisa!
Adding in the ribbon or bias tape to the corners is brilliant!! Thanks for this idea!
