#VENEZUELA #CANADA #COPA2024 - Спорт
Good analysis. As a Canadian am expecting Venezuelan to have a slight edge. Canada just found out Tajon Buchanan is out with a major injury during training which will hurt their chances,. Hopefully, this only motivates Canada further. That said, good luck Venezuela. Go Canada!
Interesting to hear a non-North/South American perspective on this as a Canadian.
It's pronounced "ew-stack-io" (Eustaquio) and Cyle (like Kyle) Larin. And Davies, not Davis.
As a Canadian, we're playing with house money at this point so there's always a chance. No one (yourself included) expected us to even get here, especially since the manager started 7 weeks ago.
Hoping for a good match!
interesting fact -- 5th of July is Venezuela's Independence day
July 1st is Canada's
As a Venezuelan, my expectation was a group exit, with a high probability of a pleasant surprise, which eventually happened. For the game against Canada, I think it's a 50/50. Good luck to all.
Great video thanks
Venezuela will move the ball and score 2
Hey if we canadians can get a puck in a tiny net in hockey, imagine what we can do getting that ball in the big net vs venezuela! C'mon Canada - let's gooo! Time to finish some of those early game chances and score some goals!
Def and structure will carry all teams moving forward from this point. I’m going with Canada. Good defense and GK wins
I have Canada winning Venezuela, I have Argentina winning Ecuador, I have Uruguay upsetting Brazil & I have Colombia winning Panama
Most South Americans watching the conmebol qualifiers wouldn't say Uruguay beating Brazil would be an upset. As a matter of fact, most of us expect it. Brazil really needs to do something big that we haven't seen in a long time to beat Uruguay.
Junior Hoilett is not at Copa (injured) and Tajon Buchanan has just broken his tibia. Cyle Larin is pronounced Kyle and ooh stack eee oh
Thanks for this video, well done. One Question, the 2/1 would be decided by penalties, right? Not a draw. Great video, thank you!
Venezuela will be the winner to much expirience playing in Conmebol , Canadá is growing but hockey is still your thing
Dont forget Canada topped the CONCACAF qualification for the World Cup with a lot of the same core group. They beat both Mexico and USA at home and were deserving winners. If they can find that form they can beat Venezuela.
Do a full copa America quarter finals prediction brother
Bro your Spanish pronunciation is top notch 😊 thank you for trying mate
Cyle is pronounced like Kyle.
I'm sorry man - sssssyle Larin 🤣 He spells it with a C but it's Kyle. Hard kuh.
😂
tijon buchanan is out with an injury ...so sad
For Venezuela Darwin Machis is out due to yellow cards. Instead Yeferson Soteldo will be starting. Also Jon Aramburo will be at RB for Alexander Gonzalez and Miguel Navarro will be starting @ LB. Telasco Segovia may or may not be starting.
Canada will be the winner under Copa America rules. Meaning the referee will help the team in different ways. 1. One red card against Venezuela. 2. A penalty after a Hollywood great Canadian soccer actor falls into the penalty area. 3. VAR decisions on offsides. Finally, to Be honest, Canada knows how to intimidate teams and players with hits and punches. Do not worry Canada will win. Be sure. Maybe 1-0.
Very very even matchup. I give Venezuela the edge because of their CONMEBOL heritage and they will have the vast majority of crowd support.
Crowd support doesn't bother Canada, every game has been an away game
Venezuela look sharp granted, but this is now knockout football and Canada played to survive a tough group. Argentina as a first game opponent means you're battling uphill. They got the 3 points in the Peru match albeit up a man, and played to gameplay against Chile in order to advance. Advancing was paramount, not playing sexy.
Now they have a do or die against a winnable opponent. Arguably, the weakest they've faced yet despite form. So I expect a big Canada result here.
Canada 1, Venezuela 0
Venezuelan team is currently better than the Canadian team, but the Canadian are organized and play fairly ok. Venezuela must win this match in order to confirm their good momentum.
Okay but Canada has the best player on the pitch, against most of the teams in this tournament aside from like maybe 3 countries, in Alphonso Davies.
Canada is better
@@TheDctohaving the best player on the pitch does not guarantee that you will win, just look at the match Barcelona vs Liverpool or Argentina vs Germany in 2014
@@rewstir6646Canada is not better
@@TheDctoUSA has better players than Canada…So does Mexico. Look at where they’re at. Canada is going to need more than Alphonso Davies.
Venezuela will move the ball and score 2
