Yes! I'm a fair redhead with hazel eyes. I took after the Irish side on my fathers side. My grandfather on my mothers side was a blond with blue eyes and he was of German decent. He died of melanoma skin cancer. I hate getting sun burned and I have increased risk of skin cancer due to my skin color and genetics. I'm always looking for swimwear that protects the skin. I am low income and I carefully shop end of season sales at online stores to purchase covering swimwear. I find that "Land's End" has good sales in the fall and early winter for swimwear. I appreciate videos like this that highlight lovely styles and makers of covering swimwear.
I think you should design your own. You have a great taste.

Those are actually super cute, thanks! Most swimsuit outfit I saw were ugly but you rocked it! Can you do a gym outfits video with different styles, more modest and wider pants styles, regular styles and different hijab gym ideas? Not sure if you tried some instant hijabs for working out. What materials you prefer for the gym? That would be helpful as well.

I am not Muslim, but I have to tell you how much I'm enjoying your videos. It is just so refreshing to see a young gorgeous articulate girl providing some great advice for your audience, without the narcissism or even the polarisation about making this about your religion. While I don't adopt "modest" dressing, I do tend to keep things a bit more conservative and its just really lovely to watch videos talking about fashion with such enthusiasm that's about being put together and boosting your own confidence, rather than seeking external validation. Bravo.

Personally I think modest swimwear is cuter and more flattering than typical swimwear. I'm catholic and I have waited my whole life for the swimwear industry to catch up, I have lost count of the amount of times myself and my children have seen more than we've bargained for at the pool

i just wanna say that i really like your style and this is one of my favorite channels but i also wanted to mention that feet is part of the body that should be coverd
and what made me realize this is that my teacher once said that to know if what we're wearing is modest enough to go out we should think about weather it's okay to pray in it or not and of course whenever we pray we have to cover our feet

You can also purchase swim material at a fabric store and make your own rectangular hijab.

So I think you might want to look at balaclavas for your swimwear hijab. ( they have various seasons... make sure to look for summer balaclavas as they are made from lycra sometimes)

the first two are beautiful but too short or tight. I have yet to find one I would buy. All these very dark colors or the extreme patterns, it's a no for me.What about natural colors?

Coolibar has -- or used to have -- "sun scarves" in a number of colors that do work as hijabs in a pinch. They are a bit heavier than your normal hijab and a bit harder to style, but they can be a good option if you want some extra sun protection. I have them in pink, cobalt, aqua, white, and black. They are made of sun-protective fabric and, since I have SLE and get sick when exposed to sun, I sometimes choose them if I'm going out when it is really sunny. I don't know how well they would work for swimming, as I have never tried them in the water.

Love it, my halal swim wear felt like plastic but was a last minute buy alhamdulilah worked for me. I'm glad theres more practical modest ones now. Hope their not too pricey

I’ve seen other videos on how to wear your hijab with a bow on top that would be great for a beach look , and you’ll feel less worried about your hijab getting wet :)
