as an almost 15 year old living in the UK, it's ridiculously hard to find clothes that cover me fully, but that actually look pretty. I feel like because of how modest I have to dress, my style is a lot older than all of my friends, and in a western society, there is a lot of pressure and expectations, I feel like, on me to dress in a certain way. Your videos make me feel like it's okay to dress older for my age, i.e not going around wearing sports brands and tied t-shirts like the rest of girls my age do. Your videos make me feel fresh and pretty, in a different way without showing off skin, and for that I'm so grateful ❤ I just need to work on being confident in my skin, and the way I carry myself- I'm working on it! (but aren't we all?) so love to all the other struggling teenage girls out there, i feel you and i love you.
I live in the UK aswell but I'm one year older than you and your honestly right it sometimes could be hard to find modest clothing but thankfully the area I Live in is populated by muslims so its not hard but other than that it's a huge struggle
I'm not Muslim but I actually wear modest clothes (except hijab), especially when I am in public space (like the university) or formal occasion, so I love all your precious fashion tip! Your videos are very useful! Thank you so much!
My life saver has definitely been sleeveless turtlenecks! I wear a lot of dresses but unfortunately they are always so low cut so these give you so much coverage without the extra sleeves bunching up underneath and making you sweat to death. Yes they’ve really helped me out!
As a hijabi, I love this!! another thing I would add is cardigans, they keep you warm, and it's nice to wear them when your outfit has no sleeves or short sleeves
I’m not someone who is religious but I am deeply spiritual. One day it just clicked and felt right for me to dress modestly and I actually cover my hair 99% of the time as well (I will wear it out on rare special occasions but I typically have some type of half wrap covering if I’m not fully covered) finding your channel has been so joyful for me and so helpful. It’s so nice to see someone so close to my own age with ideas that are so closely in line with my own fashion aesthetic and life 🖤
When you like your ‘aesthetics’ to be of pastels/nude/neutral colour, like leena, but when you go to the second tips and you found out it doesnt fit your skintones 😭 The struggles 😞
There are neutral colors for EVERY skin tone. Do not worry. This video is just to inspire you to look for YOUR neutrals, not to emulate Leena's exactly.
@@imaginativegirl126 hey I need advice. I have the same opinion as the comment (unless I misunderstood the comment). so, I have a medium tan skin tone so im a bit darker than leena, will i need to wear darker brown clothes compared to leena's? eg light beige looks great on her bit it might not look nice on me so I'd have to wear a darker beige or a different brown?
@@pinknicho Are you cool toned or warm toned? Mostly people are neutral skin toned however, even then neutral skin leans more towards warm or cool and is almost never right in the middle. Do you carry brighter colours better or muted colors better? (There are suitable neutrals for both) Are your features high contrast I'm colouring or low contrast (meaning how much difference there is between the darkness/lightness of your hair, eyes and skin compared to others)? Mention any colours you have felt flatter you the most. The type of neutrals that would suit you can be determined according to the saturation, coolness/warmth, darkness of those colours...
LOVE your fashion style! I have to say that I am 63, and was a teenager in the 70's when pants/jeans were quite long and wide. I love the narrower style of jeans/pants, but I still have to gave at least 30" inseam! I need an "old lady" fashion makeover!!
The first essentials that I really like on UA-cam! Your style is so similar to mine! never liked showing skin too much , love modest outfits! But is not only modest is so classy, chic elegant , you have a great taste in fashion!
my sister enjoys ur vids very much. she watches them over and over again she would be really happy if u could respond or like this comment. love from sri lanka
Hi leena, Im indonesian, newbie for hijab fashion, i really like your kind of style and inspire me a lot, i agree to find "own aesthetic" to make comfy and boost our confident, thanks for ur lovely chanel ❤!
my aesthetic changes tho... one day i love wearing pastel girly fits, one day dark cool looks, another day artsy cute fits, and some days elegant mature looks like.....??? wish i had money and i'd own the fashion world
if you live in the usa, you can go to thrift stores and buy really cute stuff for extremely cheap prices :D Other countries probably have thrift stores too but im not sure
Masha'allah ur so beautiful 😍😍 also I was just wondering if u could do a video on which hijab styles suit which face shapes, I have a long face but I also wear glasses, when I don't wear my glasses I feel confidant, but when I do I just feel like I look really awkward because I don't like how I look.
Very modest and neat ,I love it ♡♡ I'm from South Africa and am a Christian. It's been a honor wearing a headscarf since i was 14 . Girls should never overexpose no matter what you are wearing .love your tips i used all of them .
This is such a helpful video. Thanks for uploading! I'm not muslim but I've just started studying Arabic at university and when I finally do an exchange year in the middle east this will help me choose the wardrobe I take with me so I can dress modestly and respect the culture of the country I'm studying in. If you haven't done one already it'd be really cool if you did a modest uni/college student capsule wardrobe ideas video! I really love your style and your colour palette. It's so chic and feminine and I totally love it!

Wow loved ur shirt that one ur wearing at the beginning of the video 👌🏻😍 Ur personal style is actually so stylish and elegant indeed..u know u have this taste 👍🏻just love it nice lady
Hi Leena. thanks for the video! Can you please share with us your hijab tips for summer months? like which material is the best for hijab to wear in summer when it's above 35°C? my hijab style is pretty much as yours. and I want to be able to roll it on my neck, but not to sweat a lot. I used to have a hijab (unfortunately I don't know its material) which was relatively more breathing and keeping less warm, and still very cute. so I know that there are some.
Love it! My wardrobe used to be very colorful (and still is) but I’m actually switching to a more neutral palette so I love your style ♥️ If I may ask, can you do something about shoes? I love the beige and white ankle boots you have in this video
Girl I need summer wardrobe hauls I live in Dubai and can't layer too many pieces of clothing without sweating buckets :((( It's so difficult to find modest clothing that cover my curves, are cute, cover my skin and work for summer
Thanks leena! You always look feminine and very put together! Can you do a video on how muslim women can look polished and put together the *halal* way?? X
How glad am I to find your channel! I’m not a Muslim but I love how elegant Muslim women wear their clothes. I’m a mother now and prefer to wear modestly now, befitting my age and my new status in life as a wife and mother. I love the hijab but I know my husband will freak out if he suddenly sees me in a hijab 😂😂

Hi Leena I really loved the layering t-shirts and right now I desperately need them. I don’t know where to find them in the Uk. I looked everywhere for them but all of them seem to be thick but I am looking for some summery and thin! Any suggestions?! I really appreciate that please respond to my message. Best wishes
The 3 tips she gave is so key and relevant! I absolutely love Leenas style but it’s mostly too dressy for my everyday attire and the color palette doesn’t suit my skin tone. Can anyone recommend any similar UA-camrs (modest fashion and chic aesthetic) but have golden tan/olive skin tones so I can get color palette inspiration ? Hope that makes sense lol
Me too. To me Leena is one of the better blogger because some of them are not really "modest". But her outfit preferences are light and too pastel-y for me. I would prefer some colours ike pruples, reds etc.
Leena, would you say the trousers, paperbag or otherwise are modest enough on the backside to wear with a blouse tucked in (without a blazer or duster on top) And I think ur old old aesthetic outfit was cute! Maybe just a different more neutral hijab would have fit better
im 11 and a hijabi so clothes are really hard to find at this age cuz i dont want to always wear an abaya ill try these with some of my clothes jazakallah leena ❤ even tho ill look like a 20 year old lol
You don't necessarily have to wear blazers and stuff, but this gives you some ideas on where to start. But in the end, you honestly will look older than most girls you age, but al least you will look elegant and put together!
5:35 the thing about me is that my mum doesnt like me wearing pants and tops cos you can see your "areas". She prefers me wearing dressed which can be just above my knee and longer. Its something iv been brought up by, to stay modest. So i want to know some ideas to look good in dresses. Mixing it up with other items etc
Go for loose pants or a long top with a coat over it so that it can act like an abaya.for tuck in tops go for loose pants.for pencil pants go for mid thigh tops
