Ever consider carrying a little plastic 'bad air' sign to leave at spots like that latter portal? Couple zip ties and you could save someone from trouble in the future.
Strike 1 is no air movement at the portal. Strike 2 is the smell of sulfides as you go in. Strike 3 is the sound of water when a rock is dropped. "Three strikes and you are out." But you both looked like you were having fun anyways. Thanks for taking us along!
So glad that you have the logic and experience from past explores to know when to "go no further"!!! So, you took a closer look that you hadn't had from your previous visit and found that both mines can't be gotten into. It was cringey for we viewers just watching your approach down that skrew. Good thing there was a cable still laying there to help you two get to the top. Whew! I'll visit your channel next week.
Discretion is the Better Part of Valor. Thank you for this lesson in common sense and chemistry. Another EXCELLENT video combining adventure and science.
Gly, Gly, Gly.. This is why I watch you do this stuff . Nope. No way, no how.. Again Laura has gotten further than I ever would. Great call on beelining it outta there... No air, no way you should go in. When I heard you say " there's a lot of sulfites down here ", that would have been my stopping spot.. Please be careful..
Love all the drone work. I felt like the little shot of Bob, and the banjo was a small but really beautiful shot. Appreciate all the hard work you do and Happy New Year!
I thought in a previous episode that she was going to become full-time with you. At least that's what I thought anyway great show I'm glad you're safe. May God bless you both and keep you both safe I look forward to seeing you both again soon 👍👍👍👍
Couldn't agree more Gly, you gotta trust your gut. We as humans all have our limitations, but boy oh boy i bet that would be one Awesome explore! Keep on keeping on you two. Happy New Year. Good things are coming....
Just because you can smell the gas doesn’t mean they are in the dangerous mix of less oxygen. If you can smell sulphur but the closer you get you will encounter more gas and become desensitized to the smell which will be smell blind. Once that happens you know you’re in a dangerous zone. That’s the mix of too much gas to oxygen. I worked at a sulphur gas plant in Wyoming. I had to get certified every year to go into the plant. It’s bad stuff and can kill you very quickly in seconds if there is a leak. We had oxygen masks (another certification annually) to use if we encountered smell blind or our monitors went off.
Re: rope over the lip. Ask a spelunker, I'm sure there is a proper technique to do it safely. My guess is that you set some anchors for a secondary static line so that you can get the weight off the primary line and get your ascender over the lip.
I really like your hand held camera set up with the microphone and housing. If like to know the brands of the camera, microphone and camera housing that you put the camera inside of. Also the brand name of your go pro helmet cameras and helmet brands please. Enjoy your explorations. God be with you both and be careful.
You had me a bit concerned when you were at the 1st hole with the 2 ladders. One slip and you could have fallen in and broke some bones! You should have been on the ropes there also.
Yah, you dummkopf. Absolutely no valid reason not to use the rope and use the GoPro in risky descents to have hands free. Get properly equipped, people donate climbing gear for both of them.
Gly, we all love the effort you go through to bring a great adventure but I think this is probably the sketchiest I've ever seen you climbing around. Please be a bit safer. You should have roped all the way down and not free climbed down those ladders
🇨🇦 Between 18:22 - 18:34 There orbs or bugs come out of the soil when Laura pushes her right foot...then another one on the left side. For me it's orbs baby orbs. Great vid though. Great job.
Dust particles appear as orbs as light refracts around them. Do some flash photography in dark dusty place like basement etc. Nothing supernatural about it.
You should do a crossover with the @ActionAdventureTwins. They are masters at rope work and are cave explorers. They can teach you loads about rope work and dangling over the edge. You can teach them about dangerous gas. It would be a great show and they can help build your channel.
Western Mine Detective makes me cringe, he isn't careful and needs to educate himself about what he's doing! You're very smart about how you investigate mines!
“Gly”: Because this video is a year old and Laura was still learning about how the channel works back then. Shyness is like a beer buzz.. it eventually wears off.

Variety is the spice of life😊
Ever consider carrying a little plastic 'bad air' sign to leave at spots like that latter portal? Couple zip ties and you could save someone from trouble in the future.
Spray marking paint, easy to carry. Carry a small stencil to spray over.
Hey guys, thanks. Glad you are both safe, that's the main thing.
I always carried a third ascender to put above the edge and pull up with. Many years of spelunking.
Thank you for taking us along with you. Glad you're being careful. GOD bless you both.
Gly's last words, "Hold my camera, I'm about to..." 😃
Strike 1 is no air movement at the portal.
Strike 2 is the smell of sulfides as you go in.
Strike 3 is the sound of water when a rock is dropped.
"Three strikes and you are out."
But you both looked like you were having fun anyways. Thanks for taking us along!
happy new year and thanks for the great video !
Damn I can't believe you went down that stope without a rope.
So glad that you have the logic and experience from past explores to know when to "go no further"!!! A happy and healthy New Year to all.
Thanks for the Saturday explore. Glad you made it out unscathed.

Awesome adventure ! Glad the bad air didn’t make you both sick. Be careful out there !🫂🙂👍🏼
You two are a couple of brave souls.

Laura is now full time. This episode was a repeat of old footage.
@@Paddy_Roche Gly & Laura?
🤔 Pete & Repeat ☝️ 😆 ✌️🤙
So glad to see the drone work again. Please bring it back . I have passed that site sooo many tomes and have wondered
This is a rerun episode.
Couldn't agree more Gly, you gotta trust your gut. We as humans all have our limitations, but boy oh boy i bet that would be one Awesome explore! Keep on keeping on you two. Happy New Year. Good things are coming....
Thanks for the explores, no explore is worth health. Best wishes for the New Year, be safe.
Good call Gly, the ladder dance in the stope was sketchy enough. Bad air is a whole other issue. Surprised your monitor didn't go off.

Sqeaky Mc Squeak. Very watchable explore. You must enjoy motorcycles or rollercoasters.
Cool vid. I could swear I've seen it already.
Omg u guys!! That ladder far too sketchy!!! Don’t y’all risk like that!!! Please 🙏🏼 happy new year to u both 🎉
Everyone else "hold my beer".
Gly "hold my camera" lol
Good Lord, that unwrapped 360 cam shot in the thumbnail is trippy as all get out, lol....
That was a hard trip. Good you check it.
Good New Year start video! One thing about this situation is you can fart as much as you like and no one can tell! 😁 As always be safe Thx 🇨🇦
Good one this time I was worried footing was not good a dangerous one thanks stay safe

Dang, that mine was mysterious and dangerous. You have enough experience to know to just back out.
Wow! You two didn't get far into either of them but my excitement meter was off the chart. Did you hear me screaming at you to be careful?
Happy New Year everyone from Syracuse NY my friends
Season greetings to you two .
Thanks
excellent episode.

Great episode Wow guys
Awesome.
Still very refreshing
Safety first.
My uncle always said, ' treat a ladder like a wife.....NEVER turn your back on her....'. Strange, i liked my aunty
11:08 Spiders caught a big one!
That was unnerving I must say.
Oh nice, a new episode of High Anxiety…. 😂😂😂
Laura did you perhaps work for Primavera in Tucson?
Carful with those ladders 😮
Yeah, "suck it up, buttercup"....BUT WHY ARENT YOU TIED OFF???.....lol
Gly, we all love the effort you go through to bring a great adventure but I think this is probably the sketchiest I've ever seen you climbing around. Please be a bit safer. You should have roped all the way down and not free climbed down those ladders
No apologies. Better camera shots the more views. New sub here!
Hello Gly
...im sending you some lovely free sunshine from sarasota, florida on the west coast near the Gulf of Mexico by Siesta Key.☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️🌡🌞
your fun doing crazy stuff but teststamp something that holding up something your allready standing on? that is crazy ha ha
Would you ever explore with a respirator?
Bio-film is the word you were looking for I believe. A biological mass on a surface. 😊
🇨🇦 Between 18:22 - 18:34 There orbs or bugs come out of the soil when Laura pushes her right foot...then another one on the left side. For me it's orbs baby orbs. Great vid though. Great job.

Gly, you took a big risk going down without a rope. Who picks your intro tune and mid music, cute, lovem?
You should do a crossover with the @ActionAdventureTwins. They are masters at rope work and are cave explorers. They can teach you loads about rope work and dangling over the edge. You can teach them about dangerous gas. It would be a great show and they can help build your channel.
How old was this footage? By the looks of Laura, it clearly was not recent.
Last winter
@@lh6551 Happy new year Laura and to Gly xxx
Those were the good ol’ days of blue jeans!
This is a old one right???
Correct
Yes daddy longlegs was Janne longlegs in swedish and another name for Goofy in sweden,
seems like a lot of mines are a bust
Why climb with all that gear if you have no intention of using it
All about the look
Western Mine Detective makes me cringe, he isn't careful and needs to educate himself about what he's doing! You're very smart about how you investigate mines!
Ui, das sieht diesmal aber leichtsinnig aus- so kenne ich Euch gar nicht!
OBA
You guys are total nuts. This is not easy to watch.
Let's see some of this rope work you keep talking about OR I'll just watch Frank.
YOU GUY'S SHOULD WEAR A GOOD RESPORATER BREATHING ALL THE OLD DUST AND BAT POOP. NOT VERY HEALTHY AND YOUR BREATHING IS SHORT FOR A 54YR OLD MAN.
Why is your partner such a NPC
