Hey Gly, A small point, the mining term "sheave" is pronounced "shivv". It's a mining term brought over from Wales by Welsh miners. The pronunciation "sheeve" refers to bundles of grain stalks. "Shivv wheel" is also used in the oil industry to refer to the crown block at the top of a drilling rig.
Hello from France. The secret of a good UA-cam channel is when the actors succeed in establishing a climate of sympathy with subscribers. Not only do you comment, explain, but also converse with us giving the impression of being present with you. We will never know each other but you give the impression that we know each other and it is a pleasure to live this virtual friendship which does good in this boulversed world. A big thank you, take good care of yourself. Friendly
I love your videos sooo much!!! I love how informative you are. I keep my eye out for your uploads every week. I Thank you and Laura for making these video. 😊❤
Thursday night dinner on the veranda at the cabin on the farm with another explore with Laura and Gly. We put a large monitor on the table, sit back and watch you two have fun going up and down and every which way in underground mazes. The channel has a different vibe now that Laura has joined in. Soon she will be like Sharon who runs Frank around in circles.
Hello Gly and Laura , awesome awesome Wednesday adventure . Pretty cool set up . Can’t wait for the rest of the adventure. Be safe out there . Thanks for all you both do . 👍🏼🫂🙂
Hope you go down the incline shaft. You may find some more artifacts. I find that you going down the incline shafts pretty interesting. Who knows how many more drifts you will find 500 ft. down
It makes perfect sense to me. They used the mountain as their ore bin. The skip could dump and get back down to the miners, and they could load the carts as they could to take the ore out side. Without slowing down the skipcart.
I really appreciate you going a little slower Gly. I can see more stuff i usually miss. Thank you for another awesome video. I always look forward to Wednesday's and Saturdays episodes. Great job you two!!!!
Greetings Gly. I love the Wednesday production. I also miss the drone video on Saturday. I really like it when you include the drone footage on Saturdays because it gives a real sense of the geology. Your use of a gimble and superior lighting is what sets you channel apart from others. That and your knowledge of mining along with knowledge of geology has you miles ahead of everyone else. God bless you. Fro. An old mine explorer from the 70s
That was an interesting mine. It helped alot your "walk thru or about" piecing the development of how the mine operators got to the Maganese ore, ore "up & out". I enjoyed this explore. Thank you two.
Hi Gly & Laura. Cant wait for the next episode of this mine. Impressive thanks for sharing this. Laura stick a bat down the back of Gly's shirt that will stop him winding you up 😂
So Gly, I'm getting the idea that you're expanding your fragrance line to include different scents for Arizona and Nevada mines?! Interesting configuration for that decline shaft, looking forward to you two getting down that hole. Thanks for bringing us along. As always, stay safe! 👁🛠☎☎

Ah, manganese! I grew up in Havasu and every summer suddenly you'd go from perfectly clear tap water to slightly watered down cola colored tap water thanks to the manganese. It was always worse in toilets, made you think someone forgot to flush.
Wasn't there a drift going to the left towards the entrance that you were going to explore on your way out? Or did you do that already and I just missed it?

Laura, did you take any more stills of the hoist remains? Trying to figure out what it looked like. Was there another side casting in evidence?
Only the one. Nothing remained aside from the partial wheel and tank.
Who wouldn't want to click on that thumbnail? Not me. It made me click immediately although I usually end up watching almost all of your videos.

Not this time, perhaps on a return 😉.

I’ve had the rabies series. Not that big a deal. Just normal shots in the arm sequenced over several weeks.
Gly you are a world of information but you need to leave comedy to those that are good at it!
Can't wait to see if you go back and go down the decline.
14:14 made me click on it😂
Bats are dying from a white fungus.
Bat dander! Lmao! You and the dang bats and pack rats…. You’re psyching yourself out brother. Unnecessary anxiety, not got for the health either.

Just go down as batman and batwoman then the bats will think you're one of them and leave you alone. 😅
