Don't stop hugging her. Enjoy every minute. You got no idea how much you'll miss them when they're gone. Mine passed away over 25 years ago and I still keep a couple of Grandpa's sweaters and some of Grandma's coffee cups. What I wouldn't do to have one more breakfast with them.

Talk, I was also raised by my grandmother. However on the 24th of April it will have been 8 years since she passed and she was my rock. This week has been a sensitive one and I popped on the new music Friday as I got ready this morning and your song came on. I instantly resonated with the lyrics (my nana also had a room at the end of the hall) and as if someone waved a wand my face went from dry to covered in liquid coming from my eyes. Like anyone that is instantly connected to a song I came to youtube to do my deep dive on anything and everything TALK. Then I stumble across this lovely video. Cue second waving of the wand. From one grandmas boy to another. Thank you.

I just lost my Baba (I’m Ukrainian) earlier this year just before Easter. She was my last living grandparent, and she meant so much to me. I don’t think I ever really cried about it. I’ve heard this song a few times, but I guess tonight things were just right and I started bawling when it came on. I knew I loved this song already, but now it means even more because of who it was written for and why. So I just want to say thank you so much for this song ❤

This is so wonderful. Happy tears! My Grandmom had a huge impact on my life (she passed in 1988 - I’m an “older” fan). I still think of her often, and once in awhile she visits me in my dreams. ❤

Dude you just made the little 17 yr old gilr inside me bawl. I lost my Nana at 17 after a year of devastating cancer. It's been almost 30 years now, and I still miss her every single day. She was my best friend. I quit high school to be her stay at home care taker until... Hug your mammie for me and tell her she's so special.

My grandma on my dad's side died when I was 5, so I don't have many memories of her. My grandma on my mom's side, "Mee Ma", was an ornery person who cursed like a sailor and was missing a thumb. I didn't spend any where near the amount I should have with her.
