That's great, I'm glad you made the effort to learn for your family ♥️ the trick to tortillas, especially corn, is to add fat, whether shortening or lard, it'll make the tortillas softer and lighter tasting. Such a difference, really!
We do it differently. I leave the rice soaking in water and cinnamon stick for about 2-3hrs, better overnight. I use condense milk instead of sugar and I do not add milk at all. My special ingredient is I add 1/4 of chocolate tablet (abuelita.). Nonetheless I will try your way as I suggest you try how I do mine. It's good to learn from one another!!thanks
If u like orchata then whenever you to a Salvadorian restaurant where they sell "pupusas" try their version of horchata. It has like some mix of seeds like cilantro seeds but it taste like orchata onlh as if the rice was toasted 1st. Thats my flavor description 😋. Or in the hispanic section of imported items of food you might find ready to mix versions called "MORRO" love that most have all pure natural ingredients, some with or without sugar. I prefer to add my own sugar 😉... Blessings

This was amazing! I have a vitamix, so I made rice flour first then blended everything together instead of soaking the rice overnight. This was soooo good. I tried another recipe from another channel, and it came out more like baby milk due to all the evaporated milk. This was the perfect mix of water and milk, Thank you! Now i'm on to recreating the chicken birria recipe!
You should really consider doing close ups everytime you show ingredients or for example in this case when you finished blending up the rice to kinda get an idea of how 'course' (sp) the rice should look....also, would you recommend adding sweet condensed milk instead of sugar??
I try to get close-ups and different angles when my sis is around to help. Yes, feel free to add sweet condensed milk instead of sugar. I show my version of making horchata, but you can make it comfortable for your home.

hi, an easier way for flour tortillas is 2c flour, 2/3c warm water, 1/2tsp salt, and 1/4c oil. just mix, roll out, and cook over medium low :)
I use condensed milk to sweetened it instead of regular sugar, it gives a totally different flavor to your buds.

Hello sweetheart! I hope you're having a nice spring break😘
Views on the road Hi thank you I am tell the family I said Hi
Leslie Veliz ❤️❤️❤️😍 Hi Leslie!
It’s 3 am and I’ve binged like 10 of your videos I’m making some for my parents this weekend
Psssh that video is why I subscribed and it wasn't that bad- I just did another round of rice and milk- problem solved!
This is my favorite video because this was the first video I watch from your channel the reason I found your channel and I made the agua de horchata for my family and everyone ☺️☺️☺️loved it even my little ones ..
I was wondering why my Horchata wasn't tasting authentic. I now realised that I've been using an American cinnamon stick. Ugh.
Lol
😂
Mista Mike ain’t cinnamon just cinnamon? Like it’s a dried root (root yeah??)
Don’t let them take our maymays 👍🏻
@@dontletthemtakeourmaymays4690 I learned from a cooking show cinnamon is grown in different parts of the world and have different taste so no it is not all the same. I used to think so too.
U made horchata so simple .. I've seen it done and I've never attempted cuz it seemed to difficult .. but I will be making this tomaro .. thank you
Can you make a video doing it the other way soaking the rice or show the private video, would love to watch it. Please and than you!
Can we substitute the pulverized rice or overnight soaked rice for rice flour?? What rstio would you recommend?
“mexican” cinnamon is just ceylon cinnamon
Do you rinse your rice before using it here or do you use it straight from the bag? Can't find an answer online
Hey thanks for sharing... I got some questions... would like make a difference if I blend the cinammon with the rice?
I still loved your original video lol loved it!!! Made original recipe and me and hubby absolutely loved it!!! Now I just have a quicker recipe 👍🏼🥰
