It's impressive to see how SketchUp 2021, Lumion 12, Photoshop and Premiere can be used to create an animated axonometric representation. Thanks on Benjamin for providing a tutorial on this fascinating process. I'm excited to improve my own skills and discover new possibilities in the world of 3D visualization. Keep up the good work! 👍🎉
Just discovered your channel today whilst googling how to make my first perspective section from sketchup- amazing and so helpful! You are a wizard lol
hello, thank you for making such a great videos. my question is am working on pone project I want to add custom rigged animation from max to lumion. I tried Maximo did not work I tried max baiped animation did not worked how to import human animation?
Hi Benjamin, I find your channel really helpful, especially the section and plan drawing using Sketchup and photoshop, as I'm not the best on AutoCad. I was wondering if you did any 1-1 sessions over Teams. I have a project due in December and would love my drawings to look as professional as this.
Hi Ffion - I'm really glad you found my videos helpful. Unfortunately I am not doing 1-1 sessions at this time. In the future I might try to set this up. If you'd like to send me a PDF with your drawings I will happily give you some comments!
Genial el vídeo introductorio. Claro como el agua. Si sigues haciendo vídeos de unreal engine 5 tan claros como estos tendrás una nueva gran línea de seguidores entre los que me incluyo. Me interesa muchísimo el programa para Archviz. Enhorabuena.
Something related to 06:15 I noticed something..when I opened the sketchup file saved by hiding elements within a component, the file still has all the hidden elements, just that it's hidden. Also the hidden elements doesn't show up in Lumion as desired. But let's say the component is very high geometry. And If there are 100 individual elements. SO importing these 100 elements is equivalent to importing this high geometry component 100 times over, Technically. I wanted to ask if it's just me or is it like this for everyone? Will Lumion consider the hidden geometry into account??
My understanding is that if you have hidden geometry in SketchUp - it won't be imported into your Lumion model. I think it's similar to having geometry on a certain layer turned off. It will not be imported into Lumion if it is not visible.
One solution to this is, saving elements individually by copying, opening new sketchup file, paste in place, save it. Just make sure the individual element is not a component(as it can have an axis of it's own), or simply set the individual (element)component's axis at the origin.. This way we retain the axis as origin, also we can save the files in a cleaner way.
@@BenjaminNaudet thank you!! But do you recommend also having Sketch-up? Seems like sketch-up is better for building the what’s around your building and more intricate constructions. I was thinking of getting it as a student.
@@briajonhson SketchUp is a very easy and intuitive tool to use for all kinds of 3D modeling. I think it comes down to your own personal preference and skillset for which software to use. It's always good to have experience using different software too!

I believe orthographic view is only available for Lumion 11 and newer.

Can you do this from Rhino to Lumion?
Yes! It should be relatively the same process - aside from the file type you would export from Rhino.

Is there any methodr to import multiple file at once?
I have like 300 file of skp 😭
@@christopherchristian3194 I do not know of a method to import multiple files at once. When I recorded this video there was no way to do that.
