It's awesome, the time you put into the cinematics for your playthroughs, Taff. I feel like I'm watching a WW2 aviation series - exactly what I love to do of an evening. The fact that they come out roughly weekly adds to that. The same goes for UBoat, the WW1 series and B-17 The Mighty Eighth (which is what grabbed me in the first place!). Do please keep up the great work, Taff and thanks very much indeed for the effort.
the beginning was weird, the LA5 and the Henschels just crashing for no reason..that Stuka reminded me of the Wellington..looked like a tea sieve before the engine caught fire!
In the settings you can assign a key to move the pilots head up or down. Super handy to move your head up and get a better view over the nose when taking a shot on a target thats turning out of view. Sure as hell beats shooting and hoping you are connecting :)
9th is good. But 3rd would be much better! That Stuka pilot was very good. Really made you work for it. And his plane took a tremendous beating before going down.
Taff made that Stuka pilot look so good because he seems to think he's still in the Hurricane and trying to turn fight in a P-40! The P-40 is not great in a turn fight as he so ably demonstrated. The P-40 is a boom-n-zoomer. You need to get above the enemy, dive in and hit him hard and extend away and climb back up and do it again until he goes down.
That bloody Stuka looks like a colander, yet it is still flying! Taff, I get the impression that the Hurricane has a tad better performance than the P-40. But it's nice to have 6x .50 calliber MGs.
The Hurricane is a turn-fighter; the P-40 is a boom-n-zoomer! Therein lies the difference between the two. Taff doesn't seem to realise this fact and is trying to fight like he does in the Hurricane. No wonder he is always stalling out.
Well, i'm longining for a further step up on P-39! Very entertaining videos with hurri and P-40! Keep up your nice job! I'd like to see a career on an underdog such as the Lagg-3...at least the 66 series one, which was at least competitive or flyable...
You had quite the good take off, not going to lie. Also, Stukas are very tough aircraft, but tough aircraft falter when they catch on fire, like the G4M.
There's nothing wrong with the 50 Cals; it's the fact that Taff is trying to turn fight in a P-40, which is not a great turning aircraft and he is stalling out all the time. If he booms-n-zooms, improves his gunnery and puts those 50 Cals into the engine compartment as well as the cockpit of the enemy, he will shoot down many more aircraft.
@@colindouglas7769 Don't miss understand. I am not saying that the 50 cals are a problem. I was just remarking on the fact that they kill the crew at high rates.
Planes fell out the sky then stopped when Taff turned up.
Really enjoyed the cinematic takeoff with the mission briefing voiceover. Excellent!
It's interesting how the odd aircraft has to be absolutely peppered before it will go down.

Love the p40.

Track IR prevent that, you can only use that when it's paused or not active (on my side anyway)
@@Cpt_Flatbird ahhk, i dont use track IR so i wouldnt have known

Least these stuka's had the decency to blow up
eventually

Hey, you had to grind out that kill. Sometimes, that’s just the way she goes. Good engine shot!

@David Lazarus That's true.
I tell you one thing is for sure " Zee Germans don't like Taff"....how many rounds did that stuka eat......Pip, Pip.
very good!
nice hunting taff
Should have played Yakety Sax for a few of those AI interludes.
Ahhhh for one minute I thought you’d have finally downed a ‘heavy’ in the HS129!
Very cool, i demand more episodes faster ;)
Rear gunner BBQ there
Might be 9th, but still need to do a air gunnery refresher course.
The 50 Cals don't seem to shoot down planes well, but they kill crew members left and right.

I've watched war documentary's and they all say the Stuka was easy prey, Taff?
Hurrie's and Spits would pounce on them when they were most vulnerable pulling up after a dive.
Happy Birger Eriksen day, Taff
Good God man shoot at more than POINT BLANK RANGE
please give me more
Taff, turn fighting in a P-40 is not what you should be doing. You need to boom-n-zoom in that crate!
14:59 - NOT NINTH!!!!! You're tied for seventh with everyone else at 21 kills! Please read it properly.
Sorry but wtf is wrong with the AI ? 2 german planes just plunge down into the trees without any dammage or enemy planes near
The AI is so lame .... ug
