When I heard your mother had passed all those years ago, I was incredibly sad for your loss and I couldn't imagine what that was like, then about 10 years later my mother got hit with cancer and even though they removed it, it had then spread to other parts of her body. Then I loss her, she was the rock for myself and my brother. The night before she asked me if I would be okay, she wouldn't let go of my hand till I told her I'd be okay. She was gone in the morning, she just went to sleep and never woke up. Watching that happen so fast, 6 months was all it took and she was gone. So for a long time I had wondered if you had publicly released this song. Thank you for finally doing so.
I miss time code videos so much from the 80's and 90's had the Sony Beta Cam in the 90's for home movies and in the early 2000's the Sony Digital 8 HiFi cam for footage recording. Thank you for sharing this song and the story behind writing it and what it means as well.
