    Masterclasses from a great coffee educator, more valuable than endless equipment reviews how to actually brew coffees better, cheers mate

    Thanks for the series! Love how you concentrate on making good coffee, not just the latest equipment crazes.
    What was the most surprising coffee on the calendar?

      Thanks so much for your support! That's how I learned to make coffee, way before the equipment trends :)
      🤔 I need to think a bit about that, there were a few that surprised me.

      I have actually made a series of video about that. I used the Orea for that, but the principle is the same.

      @@matteofromtheswamps question for you! when you let "all the water drain out", is there a certain time you are looking for? of course, water that is just standing still means the filter is water logged.
      another question, i only have a regular server and then pouring the water + bloom out, the water comes out pretty rapidly which then stirs up the bed. will i need to find a server that does a clean pour, like yours?

    What do you gain by this method u don't understand what the advantage of this is?

    • @matteofromtheswamps
      @matteofromtheswamps  13 днів тому

      Basically you reduce the extraction on the last pour, because the water will be colder and also mixed with the first pour
