The Gargoyle leap is a fun challenging parkour move that I personally started to do as a new creative way to challenge myself. It can be used as a progression for Gargoyle Gainers and also help you safely and easily get down from things.

    Hey,
I really enjoy your videos and I'm glad you're back to tutorials again. What I thought would be really useful is for you to do a tutorial on just basic running. I would like to hear your thoughts on what you consider to be the most proper way to run in freerunning and parkour: how to breath properly, how to change tempos and how to develop endurance, speed, where to start if you're a beginner in FR/PK and how much of the person's training time should be devoted to just running. Sounds weird, but I found this somewhat interesting, as there are a lot of people, even longtime joggers who run inefficiently and use to much energy.
Best regards, keep on being awesome!

Hey jessie!! Im a huge fan and you inspired me to start and get into parkour. Its been so great and fun making vids and new friends threw this community. it would be really cool if you could do a front full tutorial I haven't seen anyone do that yet. I don't have a gym to train at and have never have to one, if u could show progressions to a front full without a gym that be awesome thanks man you're a legend!!!

I got a variation I've been doing and I call it the Butt Launch. Basicaly you do like a wallrun , vault or climb on it but just sit on top then you push with your butt and core and go flying into a lashe, cat precision jump or even an underbar

Heey Jessy, could you make a tutorial on how to do a backflip off a swing (playground equipment).
So you swing backwards and at the top of the ark you let go and do a backflip. I haven't seen any tutorials on how to do this and I would love to know how!

    • @haldanealex
      @haldanealex 8 років тому

it's really easy. You know how you can lean back and go upside down? just go upside down while going forward and let go at the peak of your height. Progress into it by swinging lower and staying upside down and leaning all the way without letting go to flip. (Only when swinging really low). you can also do that with only one swing. Start standing at the back and just go forward and lean back as much as possible without letting go. so basically:
      1. Practice going upside down
      2. stand at the back and do a flip without letting go
      3. go upside down with a minor swing
      4. lean all the way into the flip at a low swing (You will eventually be forced to let go because of your arms)
      5. keep leaning all the way at a low swing, letting go earlier (If you let go before you are upside down on the low swing you won't land on your feet)
      6. Once you can land on your feet with a let go, keep doing it higher and higher (it gets easier the higher you go because of more space, you can let go a bit sooner.)
      7. once you can do this at a full height swing, you're good.
      8. remember. NEVER let go before you are at least ALMOST upside down, you still need to hold on to gain your spin.
      good luck

+Alex Haldane I know that flip is easy! I mean the back flip off a swing but u do the backflip when u are not facing the way that u r going to let go...,...
Say u start off with a swing and u get to the top of the first ark (where u would jump off or do the bflip that u r saying)
but u don't do anything there
      u swing back down
and u rea h the second ark
(where if u were to let go u would go flying backwards and land on your bum/head)
THAT is were u do the bflip ;)
and it's so hard and scary...can u do that?
      if so, how??

and at the start you mentioned another type of position and didn't go into any detail about it? How do you take off from that? And I have kinda been doing this move on my trampoline, grabbed on to the bball hoop and just gargoyaled onto my back and hoping one day that I can gargoyle gainer, but great tutorial, brb gonna try it

Jesse, I want some advice on a problem I've been having. Just recently, when I've been doing moves into precisions, for example, stride into precision or thief into precision, my momentum has been continuing to movie forward and I'll always step out of my precision when I don't want to. I have to get lucky to actually stick it and even then I don't feel like its controlled. I don't know what I should do to work on that, maybe you have some advice? Thanks and have a good day.

Hey man, so i really want to learn this one move. I don't know what its called, but its kinda like a one handed wallspin/palm flip thing. Where you go at an angle to the wall and use one hand to basically backflip. I saw Ronny Chaves do it a couple times, but a tutorial for it would be amazing:)

+airplaneboy11 oh wait. A ginger flip is like on the corner of a wall or something. I meant like on a flat wall. Its like a palm sideflip motion but you turn backwards. 🤔Do you know what thats called?
