This is a freerunning tutorial on how to do a Cork Screw. PLEASE Watch the CHEAT GAINER TUTORIAL ( • CHEAT GAINER TUTORIAL ... ) to help progress into this move. This is really a tricking tutorial because the 360 cork has been adapted from tricking and used in Freerunning and parkour. I believe this is one of the best cork tutorial online, so pay attention and check back in after practicing to see if you missed anything.

I think it would be the most unique, original, and awesome series ever if you took a beginner that just started under your arm and teach him how to get better and learn new tricks and maybe record a video of what he learned and how you thought him every week. It would be the coolest and most helpful thing ever and could even be a lot of fun to you

cat twist on trampoline helps a ton in terms of a progression for this move! Also, nice cork Jesse, I hadn't seen you do one before, you almost double leg at the end of them, you say you don't have the best cork but it's definitely pretty solid. Have a great christmas :)

Would the butterfly twist be a good progression to the cork?
actually yes i think it helps you get the twist feeling more natural
The cork is basically a combination of the b twist and the cheat gainer
I'm not a genius but I would say practice the b twist and the cheat gainer so you get sort of used to the motion

one more question.... can you do this on the trampoline first and is it more save ?
I have been trying them but I don't know what's wrong, I've seen that when people do them they bend the leg that pushes you from the ground (Not the one that you throw up first), and I don't do that, I keep it sort of straight, is that a requirement to bend that leg?

i can cork but i'm stuck on trying to swing my leg through all the way at the end, not even for another cork but just to swing my leg through for the fun of it. like my foot would swing at the end, but then it would hit the ground, any tips?

hey Jesse, don't corks actually have a 540 spin, not a 360? Because when you think about it, you do the J-Step and your going into it, your facing up. So one spin, one 360 spin, you'd be facing up again. So to land it, you have to turn over and extra 180.

Not exactly, your body is doing an off-axis back fulltwist (backflip with 360 degrees)
The cork gives off the illusion of 540 degrees of rotation but in fact, a cork has a flipping motion in it (but it's slanted) so that's what makes you start facing up and end facing down while you rotate 360 degrees.
