That is super cool! I did not know that but it makes sense... the Taunka (cousins to the Tauren) in Northrend are definitely more buffalo-like in design, I can see the resemblance now!
i´ve never played wow only warcraft III and read the history I love it and think that is one of the best :) even so I like sooo much the soundtrack the elf´s tavern one is my favorite thanks man

Tauren have always been my people when i used to play wow, both vibe and lore-wise. We're just chill and peaceful cows who want to be left alone to smoke our grass in peace while living as one with the surrounding nature and trying to keep it in balance with itself. And the main goal is peace ..until you fuck with us and our lifestyle. Being at war with the tauren would legit be terrifying, they're giants who can just pick up massive logs and bonk you into a puddle on the ground, or even use the surrounding nature and elements as weapons against you. Being allied with the orcs, trolls, and undead is mainly just for convenience and the guarantee of having extremely fierce warriors on your side in case of war. If there was eternal peace, i would see tauren allied with the night elves against the destructive nature of orcs and humans.
I loved in Cata as an alliance player when you joined Theramore's campaign and battled the Orcs and Tauren across the plains of the Barrens hearing these Tauren themes. It as an alliance player really made you feel like you were in a new land.
While I missed "vanilla" WoW, I was still enjoying the game through WotLK (even though they killed off Highlord Bolvar Fordragon and Saurfang the Younger. Cataclysm seemed so promising...until I found out how much (as you put it so well) they "raped" the game. I know things change...but damn, did they have to pull the "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" on everything?
I brought my tauren druid into the inn at bloodhoof and after a minute I realized I was bobbing my head and thought, "Wow, this is a slow jam!" LOL where's Kanye with the sampling? Lil bit of jazz flute and harps, some finger snaps...
TheWizard I've read the novel. It's really good, I have to say. But what I meant is, despite their curse being lifted, they are overall aggressive and stuff. But there are Orcs that are good and have honor. I must say, Thrall is my favourite Orc because of how good and noble he is. He helped the orcs restore their glory once again, he helped Tauren in fight with Centaurs, he saved Trolls from dying from Naga. He united different races together and he did it all with honor and from the good of his heart. That's why I respect him.
None of the Horde races are evil. The Forsaken are questionable but even they have morals. They just have a different outlook on the world. Not to mention the Alliance stoops to equal lows all the time.
it would still be pretty sweet though =D maybe really irritating but it would be worth it to play the game like that! It would be alot funner... maybe... for the people who are winning.

The orcs are pure evil, after what they did to SW and the humans I will never forgive them. The Tauren however, I think they have a good heart and should join the alliance.
Come on now! Orcs are not evil any more since Grom Hellscream freed them. Thrall is a wise leader and he didnt want a new war against the Alliance. This war is NOT about good and evil. It's about existance.
1 year later.... But yes they were originally, but during the events that unfolded during Cataclysm the Alliance massacred the Taurajo village in the Southern Barrens, and is currently populated by 'Alliance Looters' NPC's.

Even though I play a NE, it is actually pretty true that they have caused most of the problems in Azeroth. Didn't the Highborne (originally night elves) attract the Legion? And the Naga and Satyrs both came from the Night Elves :( But most of the Night Elves are essentially good. And I

the old orish army is gone. Thrall has changed the horde. And Lordaerons fall is not the orcs fault, its the undead, and yes they and the blood elves are evil. But you cant say that the orcs are evil if they wanted peace in the world. The humans would not allow to be freinds with the orcs because the way they WERE in the past. The war should have ended when Archomond fell, but the humans would not allow peace in the world

you know what would be cool? If you could TAKE a city by invading, then just keep it =D. ANd alliance/horde would have to take it back =D... but there would always be a place forbidden to the enemy of whatever group to regroup and try to take the cities back =D.

well you cant blame the humans much after all they are just prone to paranoia and the dwarfs are swept up by the allis pure and simple if it were by them they would just keep in theyre mines and hoard some more gold but you cant go to war with your neighbor if you want to keep mining. They would steal all your gold!

The Orcs were more corrupted than enslaved. They weren't so much forced to fight the Draenei, as manipulated to do so.
