I'll never forget how quiet the theater was during this intro on premier night back in 2008 until the Batman logo flew through the blue fire. Someone in the audience growled "THE BATMAAAAAN" and the crowd erupted with cheers and applause. Kind of cocky considering most of us had no idea how much of a standard this would become with comic book movies in years since, but boy. What an unforgettable experience this movie was.
I got to see it a couple of days before it's release on the Warner Bros studio lot in Burbank, CA. It was AMAZING!!!
@@SpiqaroNice!
@@Superman-xr1oh How funny...I just re-watched TDK this past weekend. And here you are, commenting on a post that I made almost a year ago about the very same movie.
@@Spiqaro Lol, weird stuff. I didn't think anyone was even going to reply.
@@Superman-xr1oh Funny enough, I decided to look back at all my comments from the last decade and a half. It was a little trip down memory lane, and I wanted to see what my oldest comments were. Then, out of the blue, someone commented on one of my oldest comments within two weeks of that. Strange coincidences...
Even the quiet Warner Bros. logo intro gave you the impression that we are not prepared for the chaos the joker will cause in this epic masterpiece.
*Imagine seeing this in theater back in summer 2008*
I did and it was amazing!!
I did and those speakers on the roof said it all
I don’t have to imagine, just to remember.
And it was incredible
I did. It came out on my birthday. I just turned 13 and it blew my fucking mind away.
I did
He doesn't even show you the title of the movie. He just shows you the bat-symbol. It's like Nolan is saying, "You know what time it is."
Bc he shows the title at the end of the movie!
@@ThaOvernightCelebrity Yeah, very unique way to introduce & conclude a film. I like it a lot.
Most badass and coldest logo sequence in the history of comic book movies. No explanations. No movie title. You know what you’re watching, and why you’re sitting in that IMAX theater.
You watched Batman Begins bro?
If you see that…you gonna change your mind.
The blue flames and the quiet intense music just let you know something epic is about to go down
the soundrack is terrifying. one word comes in my mind. Joker.
Just looking at your pfp I can tell you smell like shit and curry
@@lobsterlobstershoenice641 never judge a book by its cover my guy
@@lobsterlobstershoenice641 and just from your comment I can tell you sound and act like an idiot
@@jonahandghostface2269 and just from your comment I can tell you like to spread your insecurities out to other people, just stating facts though 😂😂. And atleast shes showing her face on her pfpic, unlike you. You've got something to hide? 😂😂
@@jonahandghostface2269 maybe the fact that you're judging someone by their profile picture and how they look. That's something alot of people with insecurities do.
Batman dark knight 2008 intro 😮
The intro is so quiet but yet you know whats about to go down
Hopeful that The Batman this year is a great film, but this was the peak of DC Comics movies. Never been more hyped to see a film in my life and they absolutely nailed it
Hi bro I'm a newbie plz tell me what batman movie should i watch
@@YuvrajSingh-bq9jh the entire Dark Knight trilogy from Nolan is great
AHHHH! This gets me so excited. My favorite film.
The Best Intro ever to this Masterpiece the ticking of clocks mentions the jokers time bombs when Warners bros & DC were Peak
Happy 15th Anniversary The Dark Knight.
Absolutely Compelling Intro!
Just starting the movie, even after all these years and times I've watched it, It's still like; oh shit
When DC comics made great movies
When green lantern was right around the corner?
@@Dan-1031 we don't speak of that atrocity
Only** time when DC made good movies.....
A R um no theyve made joker and that was extremely goid
Dark Fawful they meant good superhero movies joker was a villain remember?
There has never been a movie like that again.
I was too young to understand how amazing this movie was going to be when I was 8.
I love this movie. The best Batman movie since Batman Forever.
No, since Batman & Robin
@@mrdonut8019 Batman and Robin was good, not great. Not as good as Batman Forever. Batman Forever and The Dark Knight really blew me away when I watched them at the cinema.
@@danielwilliamson6180 I seriously hope you’re being kind on Batman and robin cus that one was atrocious
@@mohammedashian8094 Batman Forever. The Dark Knight and The Batman have been the best Batman movies I've ever watched.
@@danielwilliamson6180 ok that’s fine but I wasn’t talking about those
This is the darkest I've ever seen the Warner Bros. logo before. This movie is both dark and unique.
you never seen the harry potter movies?
I had the pleasure of seeing this twice in the theatre, once w my nephew. So awesome. Theatres are how films, especially these, are meant to be experienced.
The Dark Knight intro for me represented the calm before the storm and it had a quiet meancing mood to make everyone feel as uncomfortable as possible before the chaos begins. There was a hush chill in the air that really said to everyone that you have no idea what's about to hit you. You knew you were in for a rollercoaster ride
Batman 89 and The Dark Knight had same dark blue intro...
Looks scary and Dope
The best of dark knight
ahh you should have seen me on midnight premiere of tdkr!!!
FREAAAAAKING OUT TO THIS DAAAAYYYYY
For me this is my DC universe classic green lantern,Superman returns, dark knight, etc
Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince has my all time favourite opening WB logo, but this truly isn’t far off!
The score, the quite foreboding buildup and the visuals makes this one of the most epic opening logos in film history!
I DID. IT WAS AWSOME. AMAZING. BRILLIANT. SPECTACULAR.
Thank uuuuuuu
I have skin grafts I have placed bread cut myself so loved the joker where do you think I got these scars
I never thought the Disney logo could ever be this terrifying and then came Into the Woods and Pirates
Eu gostei muito
Amazing!0
I'm not upset it's just a little creepy, and yes Ariana is my idol
hi good videos batman introductions ..... I loved the batman begins and the second batman the Dark Knight ...... I would like to uploading the intro batman the Dark Knight rises.
kev parker
Is it the full movie playlist
Ok I’m watching a play list that says BIRDS OF PREY but every one of the vids is Suicide squad
15 years proceeding every DC movie endeavours to replicate its ‘DARK’ source material albeit 60% of them come across as contrived
The Dark Knight is the most layered grounded aesthetic to be conveyed in a Superhero designated motion picture to this day
Happy 15th Anniversary The Dark Knight.
Holy crazy cheesecake Batman!
Hart

Masterpiece of intro...as creepy and terrifying as the movie itself.
MCU sucks
Well Batman and Robin is bombastic; I was referring to the Burton movie intros. They are subtle but interesting
*have. Its not stupid or crazy; the films are great but these intro's are boring in comparison to the other Batman films
Wow the two Nolan movies have really boring intros
What intros are you talking about? This intro is dark, chilling, and suspenseful... and then when that bang happens with the opening skyscraper shot... there's never been a more exciting start to a movie ever.
Probably you're right year old who doesn't understand
@@ThaOvernightCelebrity don't worry he's a kid
you’re either blind, deaf, both, or have no discernible taste.
actually its the most boring intro i hve seen lol
It's because you don't get it, lol. If you understand the atmospheric integrity, it wouldn't be boring at all. It's subtlety is brilliant.
Because you are a crap
