Agreed. I own several 65% and 75% keyboards. This is a great keyboard and hotswappable makes it an even better choice as I could lube all my switches, without desoldering. Rgb not as bright as some (like my hades 68, but that thing is blinding) if that's a big factor for you.
Thanks, I find your video quite helpful with re to changing the switches. I'm concerned about one thing though - the right ctrl, alt, and fn keys seem to be 1u, which I'm just learning are pretty hard to find. I notice that you too ended leaving your bottom row alone...
Yes that is very true! You could look for keycap sets that accommodate the 1u control alt and fn keys, but for the look I was going for, the original greys matched!

Is the color of the race white variant's case the same as the holiday's case? I like the holiday's white case but didn't like the keycaps print on the side, so if the race white had the same case color but different keycaps it would be a great comprimise.

@@kustomkeys8589 thanks for replying! i've been looking for the answers online but no success. i've been talking with the company, but they seem to be stalling in sending me any instructions. waiting for 4-5 days. i wanted to remap some keys since the i bought some sculpted keycaps and the home, end, pgup, pgdn will only go in certain spots.

I believe the case is the same color, as that was also the reason I went with this variant, being the keycap set it came with!
Was that the epomaker ep84 ‘cause as I know only ep84 have red PCB kc84 don’t have

@@mrteknas you can use auto-hot-key to remap keys

The non standard size for some of the bottom row is a pain. It's hard to find keycaps that i like and will fit. Thats my only complaint for this board

As of now, I do not. But all together it is a pretty affordable keyboard, so buying it and then customizing it yourself is a great option!
