The guy Reacher bumps into in the diner at the end, is Lee Child, author of the Reacher books.
I was going to tell her that, too. He's been in both the Reacher films, and now the last episode of this season. I don't doubt that he or now his brother (Andrew) will be in S2, too.

There are 25 "Jack Reacher" books. They were usually published and available in early fall every year. Lee Child's younger brother is now continuing with the series.
Each Reacher book is a new town, a new set of problems, & new people. Fortunately, Neagley does pop up in several books. She was one of Reacher's first choices to join him in his U.S. Army 110th MP Special Investigations Unit, and was the only enlisted person chosen to be a part of this elite team of officers. She has haptephobia, which is a fear of being touched.
The guy Reacher passed as he walked into the diner at the end was Lee Child, the man who wrote the story.

Yes! Read the books. Plural. You won't stop at one. I've read all of them - and most, at least 10 times. At least. They're mysteries, so second time round you know what's going to happen. But the way Child writes Reacher's inner life - who he is and the way he thinks - is just so much fun, I keep going back to them.
Chris Webster plays KJ. He's actually British so that's a great American accent he's producing for his role.
At the end when Reacher goes to the restaurant to see Finley and have the pie, he bumps into Lee Child walking out.
This season was insanely good. Can't wait to see the second season.

All of the reacher books are great. They are quick easy reads but fun, suspenseful, and action packed. Once you know the character everything revolves around him.

The book is good. They did a good job bringing it to life. Recommend it. I just finished the 4th book in the series.

The books are great! Some are told from a first person (Reacher's) perspective, some from third person. I prefer those with Reacher's perspective cause you get to follow his train of thoughts and why he does certain things.

Loved your reaction to this series. Such a fun and endearing show. So glad you found it. I'll be watching anything the actress that played Roscoe does going forward. Also a show with a similar feel in that it is fairly straightforward with good action, a mystery, and a likable pair of leads is "The Night Agent". It was crazy popular on Netflix like this was popular on Prime. And just like this show, it doesn't have a lot of people reacting to it. I highly recommend it.

I just binged all of your "REACHER" reactions, loved it all. (Of course I subscribed!) If you love series like this one and haven't seen "FIREFLY", yet, put it on your list. It's a complete masterclass on visual storytelling. Setting, plot, characterization, dialogue... you'll love every moment. Great reactions, I look forward to more.
Here's another vote for Firefly when you're ready to add a one season show to your schedule. Definitely an all-time favorite which is odd to say for a cancelled one season show.

Firefly is absolute god tier.....the person that made the decision to cancel that show should be tried for crimes against humanity.
Nice reaction Reacher seems like an interesting show I hoped you had fun watching Season 1 it doesn't look like a show I would watch maybe someday but I'm glad you enjoyed it👍
This is, no doubt, the single greatest book-to-screen adaptation I've seen of a novel series...probably ever. Period. Casting, cinematography, writing, plot, and score were all terrific. I REALLY hope they keep the streak going in Season 2, because it's VERY rare for a pilot season to come out swinging like this.
I would recommend "Killing Floor," if only so you can see the differences between the book and the show. They will be few in number. But because it was the first book, Lee Child was still sanding down Reacher's rough edges. You'll see differences in the character on the page if you read the series.
By the way, the guy Reacher bumps into at 25:37 is author Lee Child making a cameo. 😉

Read the Lee Child book. They’re very enjoyable. Not sure of the ones he didn’t write as not read any yet
Excellent reactions for the entire series. I wonder what's up next? What about more Mr & Mrs films, or "Couple Capers"... like the two RED films (Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, etc; these are ensemble films, not really 'just a couple' but definitely fun capers). Or KNIGHT AND DAY (2010, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz; maybe pack your own bikini, just in case). KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES (2016) with Gal Gadot and Jon Hamm as Couple #1, and Zach Galifianakis and Isla Fisher as Couple #2... or actually, the other way around. Fun action capers, and all four of these might need you to tighten yer seatbelt. Keep hands inside the ride. Etc.

Be warned, it deals with some serious and heavy issues. The most serious of which are discussed in the last few minutes. Reacher is about 8/10ths "The Punisher." A great character. A bit exaggerated, but in good way.
And maybe about 2/10ths Rain Man (Autistic). Rain Man which is a great movie starring acting legends/icons Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise.
