Respect for Zizek, he is one of the last truly free thinkers out there. He doesn't let left-wing and right-wing ideologists fool him. They want to put everyone in either of those categories, and they don't understand that politics is more complex than "us against them".
This guy is articulating issues that l've been struggling with for a while. He is able to expound on stuff that the average Joe can't find the words to express, including me. Just started listening to this dude and am so impressed .

His ticks could be a form of tourettes or just something he does to counter anxiety or whatever - like when people fiddle with their hands at interviews. That doesn't make him any less of a genius.
