I'm transitioning from belly button length to hip length and I have you to thank for how long my hair has gotten. A while ago you said you keep your hair your natural color and that inspired me to stop coloring mine and I feel that made all the difference. Can't wait to try out these products and see how long my hair will grow to next!

Kérastase is definitely a game changer for me. I switched my cheap conditioner for a hair mask (to give it a try before buying more products since it is kind of expensive) and my hair looks amazing! No more frizz, no more hair loss. I can't believe is the same hair. Thank you so much for your video! 💖

Great advice. Thank you! My hair is a lot like yours, and I have grown mine out over the past few years. I do many of the same things that have worked for you. One other thing that I've found works well, is washing and conditioning my hair upside down in the shower. While the conditioner is on it, I comb through it, rinse, then wrap it in a microfiber towel/turban. Washing it upside down, adds so much volume to my hair. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it.

I dyed my hair in 2020, and did not put any color in my hair for 2.5 years and than I finally decided to go lighter about 3 months ago and bleached my hair to get a light brown and it caused so much damage to my hair. I just cut my hair a month ago and now I am also on a journey to recover my hair, and I think that was a sign for me to actually take care of my hair and I appreciate this video. I am learning more and more about maintaining a healthy hair. This journey will def teach me to appreciate my hair more and to be a little more gentle on it.

I used to have waist-length hair and used Kerastase whenever I could. One tip for washing thick hair is to dilute the shampoo: my strands are fine but extremely dense (like, ten per follicle), so shampoo almost never reaches my scalp on its own. I keep a small cup in the shower, squirt in however much shampoo I want to use, and swirl in half a cup or so of water. If I pour the diluted shampoo right onto my scalp through soaked hair, it reaches the scalp easily and I can actually get the benefits of the shampoo. Flipping my hair over and shampooing from the nape of my neck helps, too - I used to miss the back of my head when washing b/c all the product would get stuck at my crown.
I have short hair now but seeing your lovely hair growth progress does give me a twinge of nostalgia for long, flowing hair.

Hi! I take the prenatal by Ritual, and I take biotin but I can’t remember the brand at the moment. I also take astaxanthin

I have a seven month old baby and I am so tempted to cut my hair because he is always pulling on it. I need to remember how much more beautiful I feel with longer hair though and it helps to put all of the work long hair takes into perspective.😂

hey Bethany I don’t know if you’ll come across this. but where I come from the environment outside , even in cleaner areas of my country, is quite dusty and my hair gets really oily, and somehow... dirty? if I leave the house which I do often for work. and you said to wash every 3-4 days / not to over wash. but in order to keep clean I have to over wash although I feel the negative effect on my hair, it looks extremely unkempt if I leave it unwashed for over 48 hours. what can I do to have clean hair without the dust and oil buildup but also not over wash my hair?

Love it! Zack and I both have a lot of thick hair, so it was worth the splurge. I don’t have a discount for it, sorry!

Bethany, how do you "suffer" through those 3-4 days without washing your hair? The sweats!!
I go to gym frequently like you and find it really hard to not wash my hair once every two days. The best I can do is once every 3 days.

Hey lovely I can only imagine what has recently happened in your life. A lot of girls are going through it, I did a little too. So I understand taking prenatal supplements but it might be good to pick up another alternative, I take Zinc. Have you ever tried a derma roller? The smallest size is 0.25 and can be used at night before going to bed. Works well with hyaluronic acid (although I find the acid tends to leave a smile line for me). Trust me pick up a derma roller and it will work wonders!
Ps. Your hair is gorgeous! Love love love.
