Oh my, I never knew that until now. It’s one of those lines where it should be pretty obvious what the line means, but it takes you years to work out. Now I feel stupid for not quite getting that as a kid.
I too like his voice impression of George, but I also like George Carlin's voice for him as well. He made him sound like a resentful New Yorker guy. Alec Baldwin I would give creds for his impression of George as a third. He really made him sound like real d!ckhead bigger than his own bone-crushing wheels.

This, Special Funnel, Thomas & the Trucks and Bulls Eyes are my favourite stories! John T Kenney also done the best illustrations like how he made that car with the reg number of his initials and year this book was released 1962
He did do some great drawings I like the drawings he did in Duck and Diesel, Percy takes the Plunge, Branch Line engines, The Twin Engines, Steam Roller, Special Funnel and The Fat Controller's engines.
In the TV series, Skarloey was the only one to remain red, Duncan and Rusty were orange, Rheneas only slightly orange. And Peter Sam was green and Sir Handel was blue. Duke remained Brown.
Given that we now understand that Sir Handel had empty ammunition vans, it's a bit of a shock as to why everyone was laughing. If those vans were loaded, Sir Handel would be dead. And Skarloey would have been indirectly responsible for that.
Also, I think that it would make more sense for Rusty to rat out Sir Handel, since he helped to sort the problem, and likely would have heard what happened.

Steam Roller is based on an incident that happened at Muskerry, County Cork, Ireland in 1927, which may well make it the only Skarloey Railway story not be based on an incident on the Talyllyn Railway. As for Special Funnel, Edward Thomas (who is, of course, Peter Sam's basis) did wear a giesl funnel for a time (I'm not sure if the circumstances surrounding how it received said funnel were the same as Peter Sam's), but Edward Thomes is now back to using a normal funnel, whilst Peter Sam has kept his giesl since he received it. I don’t know why the engines wanted to teach Sir Handel a lesson? Sure he may boast about his steam roller wheels, but still I think the engines are taking it a bit too far. I mean in the book, sir Handel helps get his train on time thanks to his new wheels. Like Peter Sam’s new funnel, how it was proven useful. Sure they look unusual but it has proven useful.

Ringo Starr was perfect at season 1 and George Carlin did good on a couple season 1 re-narration too, Ringo Starr and George Carlin were both perfect at season 2, and George Carlin was perfect at seasons 3 and 4. I also liked Michael Angelis for his Donald voice in Donald's duck and the singing he did of Pop goes old Ollie and his Bulstrode voice. Alec Baldwin did good on 10 episodes for season 5 and Michael Angelis did good on Arry and Bert for 5. Michael was good at seasons 6 and 7 and Alec Baldwin was good for the Salty episodes and the one of Elizabeth the Lorry but that was about it.
