Bought this clinic last year. And Antonelli’s infield course as well. It’s been WELL worth it. I’m not getting anything to write this. Just saying the truth. If you’re on the fence about Matt’s courses, just buy em. They’re incredible and affective!
It amazes me that you have a D-1 player on a scholarship and there is no coach on that team that could have done what you just did in a short amount of time.
On another note, nice to know that you can make it to that level with not-so-good mechanics. That’s where your flaws get exposed.

My daughter has the same issues in her swing and getting the same results in her AB’s as this player.
If you were to compare video of my daughters swing, with hers, it would look very similar.
Being able to show my daughter this video ~ similar swing issues she can relate to, drills used to correct said issues and final transformation ~ is exactly what I/we’ve been searching for👍🏼 Thanks for posting‼️
Wow! What a transformation. Great video. It’s unbelievable to me that a D1 Power 5 program can’t fix those obvious swing flaws. But I’ve seen it before. Major college coaches are more managers than teachers. Good job Matt Antonelli. Gonna take a year for her to make this muscle memory.

I too agree. Her form is light years better after Matt gets done. But I'm an analyst who believes in backing up a shiny, new and improved swing with results. Looking at her stats, her AVG has actually gone down since 2022 (which also dropped from 2021 as well). What gives? This is depressing. What I'm looking for is concrete proof that after all of these swings, and all of this excellent instruction, it actually translates into an improvement which is backed up by stats.

You can see a big difference with her showing her back to the pitcher a little more now just before her launch too.
Once again... on point! Thanks my man. Next level training right there. Always learning. Forever exceeding. One swing at a time. When parents tell me how they took their kid to the cages and took a 100 or 200 swings I cringe, cause all I think about is 200 bad swings built into their muscle memory. And that much harder to break.
Great improvement! To many hitters in softball are taught not load front shoulder down, not hinge into coil and stay behind backside. But when you search top hitters in D1 softball they are doing just that!

What blows my mind is this...D1 player, so clearly a really solid player and athlete... how is the staff not catching things like this? The first side shot video here, you can see the weight dump, and cast. Simple question, how does the team staff miss assisting with correction here?

Softball players tend to charge forward for some reason and their hands get stuck and create big bat drag. I think that youth coaches create this problem because they think that girls don't have enough time to load, I've heard several coaches over the years tell girls that they don't have enough time to load because the rubber is so close to the plate. They totally mess their swing up by telling them this. Try to punch a punching bag by starting your punch 2 inches from the bag , then hit the bag by loading up and really getting your body into it. It's night and day different. Watch the Oklahoma girls swing they load up and crush the ball. It's the youth coaches causing all of this. I was at a middle school game and actually heard a girls mom say she didn't like how a certain coach was teaching kids to load and she actually stopped taking her kid to him. He's a major league player and she thinks she knows more than him about the swing, and of course her daughter strikes out almost every single time. She was one of the little league coaches in my hometown too, and now I know why all of the girls can't hit worth a dang.
