I love that Gianmarco is so cranky at the beginning of the episode and then there’s the prison torture story , anti semitic stuff, and then later the guy says he had sex w a Holocaust denier it’s like Gianmarco was feeling the fucked up vibes right away ☠️
Waking up to people screaming slurs at you and physically attacking you as a teenager sounds absolutely terrifying. So does being told as a four or five year old that your sister is going to die. Maybe it's a good thing then to have all of that rich confidence and security. Great interview, guys! It had all the depth and all the laughs.
I'm a lonely jew in VA.. I was once told by an audience member after a show that him & his grandmother liked my jewish jokes, but "she thought all the jews were dead."
And this is why we have Israel (and not just a a territory to another country but self rule d)

I find it incredible that after all these amazing stories and enthusiastic delving into dirty laundry, my final conclusion is, "Crap, I still don't know what kind of hat I can wear."
Seriously this was a fantastic show, almost like a workshop on how to approach very difficult/uncomfortable subjects with humor, and you pulled it off beautifully. I've always said that the worst situations can make for the best stories down the line.
Also both of the blessing jokes are entering my repertoire, so thanks for that. 😅

1:14:37 sounds like what happened to my brother, he almost died because they refused to take him out before he got sick from my mom's preclampsia. Now the state has guardianship so they can pump him full of drugs to keep him docile, at home he was allowed to be an individual and hadnt had to go to the hospital nearly as often before he got taken away. The best thing my mom did for me was go to a different hospital with a different doctor to deliver so i was removed before i got sick.

I think it's good that they have these rich people on so we can hear what they really think. But it just makes my blood boil hearing how spoiled and entitled they sound. I'm staying to hear what their humor is like, but I'm gritting my teeth hearing about the lifestyle that their parents provided for them and the way they talk about us lesser people.
