    I've been waiting for these things for weeks and when they showed up today I was super excited. But the freaking left earbud doesn't work! Right out of the box and these things are broke. FIX THIS GOOGLE!

    Was having low volume on left ear. After much studying and trying everything, including resetting, simply removed the fine gauze like black cover using a sewing needle, and volia, the volume is back. This was suggested by one of the users on another site. The option was simply to trash the earbuds and buy a new pair, or take a chance. And it worked. I am sure it must be the clogging of the gauze over time which wasn't visible to the naked eye. Now, I need to cut a fine polyester fabric to round shape and put it back there so that the next time there is volume reduction, I know how to fix it. Thought of sharing here as this was one of the channels where I was looking for a solution.

    Thank you! Only one ear bud would connect at one time and it was driving me NUTS! I clicked "forget" then reset the buds as the video showed, works flawlessly!

    The right earbud connects, but then wont play audio when the left earbud is out. When i put the left earbud back in the case the right earbud audio doesnt work. All i hear is a buzzing sound. Happened the second day I had them. I really want to like these earbuds but for the amount of money i spent on them and for them to glitch out not even 3 days of having them, I'm pretty unhappy.

    Had to do a factory reset the first week to fix the left ear. I still have a lot of connection issues even with the newest firmware update. Looks like Google really dropped the ball.

    The case and left earbud do not connect, the right one will. I've reset it a few times and it will work again after the initial reset, then have the same issue the next time I want to use them. I really like them when it worked and would hate to exchange them because it took month for them to ship. :/

    Got these a few days ago and they have been working fine. That's until today when I put them both on and only the right earbud was working. It's like my phone didn't detect the left ear bud anymore.

    Just got the new black ones a couple days ago and updated to the latest 550 firmware. Every 1m 50secs, the audio briefly cuts out on each bud and returns (apparently a common issue). It's bad enough to be very annoying. Contacted google and they offered a refund. Asked for a replacement and said they had to elevate that request. They are doing refunds by default now because "replacements are likely to have the same issue". Shows how confident they are in their product..

    Will Google support update any of the Pixel Buds guides, troubleshooting, and instruction articles or videos to specifically acknowledge whether the advice is the same or different for the Pixel Buds Series A? All the articles and videos only show the original buds, with the status light and button in a different location, so IF the light doesn't blink to pair, or pulse to reset AT ALL, I don't know if it's because the guide or video is NOT FOR THE SERIES A or if there's some serious reason they're broken more badly than any guide can help with.

    my pixel buds 2 is connecting sometimes even if it is inside the case. This is also my issue on my pixel buds 1 and it's annoying. I thought they had it fixed on the 2nd gen but no.

    got it to work after some time. The left ear wasn't charged so watch out for that when you open it. You may have to re pop it in there and go cook a hot dog. It got it up to 89% in that time.

    After the recent update, the left earbud and case say they're on version 550, but the right earbud wouldn't connect as it was stuck on 296. I did a factory reset and now the bloody Pixel buds won't connect at all to my phone. Earbuds shouldn't be this incompetent.
    I can get to the white blinking light, but now the phone will not find the buds when searching for a new device.

      @@aleexander3d Honestly, I managed to reset the buds with the instructions from this video. It did work after many tried. The issue? Months later the right earbud mysteriously disconnected out of the blue and I gave up on them months ago.

    I have had to Factory Reset these three times already. Each time I am able to pair them to my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus but after a few minutes of not using them, they won't automatically connect to my phone when I flip the lid open. I don't even get the notification that they're connected on my phone and sometimes I have to manually connect them in my Bluetooth settings. And when that does finally work, only the left earbud connects. What gives?

      @@l0n3w01f on the first pair of Pixel Buds 2 I got, I wasn't getting the Fast Pairing notification on my Note 10 Plus even after factory resetting the Buds like 4 times. It got so bad trying to pair and connect them that I got ahold of Google and they sent me another pair of Buds. These appear to be working much better than the last pair and I haven't had any issues with them.

    I gave it a try but the Ambient sound is horrible, same as adaptive brightness on a phone. I don't like it changing all the time automatically, I prefer to have the exact brightness or sound level I want when I want it.

      You can turn Ambient noise off easily. There's a switch for it in the settings.

    the volume is not loud enough. how can i fix this problem? i m not the only one with this complaint, it is definitely not loud enough and it is frustrating. Im not trying to blow up my ear drum, but i find myself wanting to raise the volume only to see it maxed out. Adaptive is turned off btw.

      The buds and your phone have separate volume levels. You have to swipe your finger on the buds to increase the volume

    Just received a brand new pair of these.
    My phone will recognize both earbuds and the case, and tell me the charge. Everything is 100% charged.
    Only the left earbud will play audio. The right earbud doesn't appear on my phone when out of the case, and doesn't play audio.
    The left earbuds audio is extremely quiet and has no bass, almost as if they're broken.
    I have restarted my phone, reset the buds, pressed the "forget" button in the Bluetooth screen, paired and set them up multiple times, but nothing works.
    Returning them.

      I'm having the exact same problem, I looked online before I got these, and they didn't have talk about these problems, but I ordered them and they just came in and is only playing the left earbud.

      Same exact problem. Left will not connect. It originally works, them will not work after back in the case. Resetting fixes, and then it happens again.
      Google provides no chat, phone or email support. Returning.

      I've had mine since they came out and they repeatedly disconnect, won't charge and the cradle stopped charging completely and WILL NOT CHARGE NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! These are definitely a defective product with all the issues especially for the money.

      @@madebygoogle I've done this method over and over, it's just a miss most of the time. The times I do connect them, only the right bud is connecting. I've cleaned them, turned off in-ear detection, I've done all the works. I was serious about the trade in. I just want the Pros if these issues will be fixed.

    Never get more than 2.5 hours. Volume isn't as loud as buds at half the price. I have a pixel 6 phone and connectivity and sound quality is garbage. Even my $25 no name Amazon buds are better in every way, except fit. I think we need to look into a class action suit.

    I got pixel 6a and got pixel buds bro, paired instantly, right bud stopped working 3 days after, returned them got new ones and it only lets me connect it manually and nowhere on the phone does it say I'm connected. Can't change any settings or use anything or even access Google assistant. Horrible software programming. Everything is on their cloud storage so you can't even attempt to fix it. Horrible experience, definitely dropping all google products and going back to Samsung, it's not even close, and I'll never get it working because someone at google would have to fix it for me, which is never going to happen. Just give me back my money

    It's depressing how terrible the pixel buds ended up being. I had high hopes for these things. Not even a year after I got em, they stopped working entirely. In the first month the left bud stopped working randomly. The stereo went out of sync all the time. And now they won't even pair to anything. Resetting them doesn't work. So incredibly disappointing. If u are watching this video I'm probably preaching to the choir. They should offer us a discount on their store or something. A trade-in offer. Anything. They MUST know how badly they screwed up!

    My lift buds won't recognize by the charger I went through this steps over 100 times never worked after so long waiting for Google earbuds now I hate it never worked right even when was working. One month and $190 later now my earbuds are trash I can't even get hold of anyone to try help me 😭 never buy from Google store again

Than the left side completely disconnected weren't take charge on the phone earbuds status showed 17% for the left side 100% for the right side so I had a reset it as was recommended but after resetting my earbuds never came back to life I've been trying different chargers different cables does not make no difference

    I normally love Google products, but I will never buy another earbuds again from google. At this price point, there really shouldn't be this many quality issues. Sound actually comes out of two points of the the bud, the main speaker that goes into your ear canal, and the other is what I believe is a bass port. The bass port is also used for the "find my buds feature". I'd had multiple issue with the left bud being dead when I took it out of the case, and honestly I should have sent them back because of this, But... shortly after the warranty was up, the left bud main canal speaker just stopped working. The bass port still works, but the primary speaker does not. So, now I'm just out $180. I should have known to just stick with the $30 cheapos from Amazon that seemingly have higher quality.

    Why is it that I can buy a $35 pair of wireless buds from any other fly by night company and they work perfectly fine with my Pixel Phone, but I can't get Pixel Buds to work properly. I go through the entire reset process MULTIPLE TIMES and my frigging Pixel 4XL can't even find the pixel buds... After repeating numerous times and trying to pair like they're headphones from another manufacturer (they won't go into quick pair mode now), they work... but now ONLY the left bud works. My phone can see the case, see the left bud, see the right bud, but I can only get sound from the right. I believe the latest update trashed these things. Total waste of money... this is insane that Google can't get their buds to work with Google phones.... unbelievable!

    My wont even pair. Using a oneplus 6. It paired once, "forgot / deleted" the device from the phone and then it wont show anymore. Not on any phone (tried two differend oneplus and my macbook). Asked the community for help: support.google.com/googlepixelbuds/thread/48505712?hl=en#
    Its very frustrating. Paid over 200 USD for this device...
