Over the past few months, we've made significant upgrades to our shipping container, including adding a door, rough cut siding, a roof, and an off-grid electrical system. Now, we're tackling the final step: building a storage system inside the container.

8x8 or 10x10 pop ups for shade while painting. Easy to move around with you. I do all my work in my back yard and they save me. (Also put plastic balls on the feet, so you can slide them on the dirt/grass to move easier).

Congrats on the news you two! I wanted one of both, but ended up with two boys, regardless watching them grow is an AMAZING experience. Get some forks for your tractor and some pallets. When you need to empty the container, everything goes on a pallet. Then you can easily drive everything to the containers new location. If you need, I can drive my set down to help out when you move it.
Well, kids. You just made this old man tear up just as I did when I got the news of our first grandchild last year. You both are going to be some awesome parents

Congratulations on your baby boy. A suggestion for the shed, screw a 2x4 to the metal wall, so you can install nails, so you can hang your shovels, rakes, brooms, and misc lawn tools
I worked with a general contractor for a short time and you would be surprised how picky they are with their framing lumber but at the same time we did custom new builds and remodels. We weren't doing prefab stuff. I think where you buy lumber from can really help too.
Nice to know, what little construction jobsite experience I have, that was not the case😅
@@Woodbrew I have heard about the other end of the framing crew spectrum too. Seems as though quality isn't as important as it used to be. It is nice to see you guys still care about it.

Love the video guys, the shed looks incredible. Have to admit though, once Molly started getting emotional at the end when the two of you found out you were having a boy. My eye holes started leaking a little bit, such a weird thing. Congrats to the both of you and that little guy is gonna have two amazing parents and role models.
