I’m actually kind of glad you picked this week to vlog, because I’m a hygienist assistant and we get a lot of cancellations as well. The day is very unpredictable.

Did your office help you learn all of these skills or were you confident in your skills getting hired on the first day? Some of these things I've done once or haven't done since the program and it makes me nervous to know this might be the expectation from me at corporate dentistry.
I was pretty confident in most skills on my first day. However, I had to have help with somethings such as impressions when I finally had to do one. It’s good to find an office willing to help if necessary!
I have a question does it matter if you go to a two year rather than a 4 year. And Does being a dental assistant increase your chances to get into the dental hygiene program

Every program is competitive so I would think experience gives you extra credit!
