Your cover is very complex. Many layers. Thank you for sharing your techniques and you explained your steps very well. I watched several of your videos today and every single journal is unique and so very outstanding. You have a very extremely creative mind and wonderful attention to details. Very stunning. I liked and subscribed right away. Thank you !!
Omg thank you!!!! Sweetest words ever! Really just made my day! 💜🥰💜

Just found your channel. Absolutely love your cover, l feel inspired to make a similar one. Thank you ❤
Thank you for this. I had recently asked, on one of your videos, if you had done a tutorial on your covers. This morning I looked to see if you had responded, and before I even got to where I had posted the question, this video popped up! But, wow! Don't know if I have it in me to try this, even though I love it! Thanks again!
This cover is beautiful! You did a great job of explaining the process. Thank you for sharing your creativity!
Thanks! Excellent tutorial. I am concerned about the thickness and if my machine could handle that much fabric. Will have to try it and see.
Stamped the fabric, Brilliant! Love all your amazingly creative work! That is the best use of eyelash yarn I have ever seen.
This was a great tutorial! So much of what you said is exactly the same for me, my sewing machine I only bought to sew paper, if I have to sew fabric it’s chaos 😂 the use of the stitch for the tassel is genius, definitely doing that in my next journal
@@CraftyMoonshine me too re sewing machine
I love all your forest woodland fairy journals! I’m obsessed 🔥🔥🔥
☺️🥰
Excellent tutorial and information is very helpful. Thank you... i have been collecting the items for a soft cover and now i feel more confident on putting it together. THANK YOU AGAIN !!!
❤❤❤
Thankyou for showing how to do this cover,i have so much fabric to use up,this is such a lovely cover, thankyou for the inspiration ❤
I love learning something new, and you explain things very well, Anna! This video really helps! I will give a soft fabric cover a try, and start gathering the materials I need! TFS! ~Janet in Canada
Yay! Let me know how it turns out!!! 💜
You did a great job explaining it. I love it.
This is lovely! You made such cool choices with this cover, and i loved watching the process.
Aww thank you ☺️🥰 I felt like I did an awful tutorial. It relieves me to hear it was enjoyable! Thank you so much for your comment!
Stunning and amazing fairy journal
Thank you 🥰
Thank you for sharing that. I knew it would be a lot of steps to those covers, you have so much detail in them . They are beautiful for sure. I would love to make one like this, but I know I could never match yours in detail and beauty. Again thank you for your time .
Thank you 🥰 and you are welcome! I love helping people, especially when it comes to junk journals, I just wish I was better at it 😅 Trust me, when I was first making fabric covers, they were nothing like this. My sewing and fabric pieces were crooked and the details were very simple. Just keep practicing is the key!!! ❤️
@@passionsofpaper you have far exceeded all the videos I’ve watched and there’s a lot of them. Yours are by far best. You really make it feel magical, and enchanting, and surreal. You are gifted at it.
@@jeanlubo2446 🥹😭 wow thank you!!! 🥰❤️
Thank you very much for such an educational video.
Thanks for this video, it's a very good How to-video and I'm going to try this for my next journal. Love your fairy journals!
Aww thank you! I'm so excited! I hope your cover turns out well! Remember, everything gets better with time. My first few soft covers were not that great. Bad sewing, simple details, etc. But I kept practicing and adding details and eventually got better.
This is a great tutorial. I love this cover. I have been wanting to do a cloth cover like this for a long time, I just didn't know where to start. Your instructions are great, and easy to follow. Thank you so much for sharing. I subscribed and I would love to see more of your work.
Thank you!! That is so good to hear!!! I was so worried that I did a horrible job. It was so hard making the video. I hope you are able to make a cloth cover and if you have any questions feel free to ask! ❤️
New subscriber here - so glad I stubbled across this video as I want to make a soft cover for my next art journal. I have looked through your channel and did not see how you actually make your tassles? am I missing it? and if so could you point me to it? Please and thank you sooo much
To make the tassel seen in this video, all I did was lay out a bunch of fibers in a straight line, grab the middle, and use the book binding thread from the middle signature to tie in a triple knot right around the middle of the fibers.
I have this video here that shows another way I made a tassel if you fast forward to 6:50: ua-cam.com/video/IMSR4y8eiKw/v-deo.htmlsi=ZwQKpbccyUUoTbQ6
Simply wow!❤
Thank you so much for this! It’s amazing
superbe vidéo et très bien expliquée merci
This was really so many steps. TFS all of them. I enjoyed it several times already!!😊😊Where did you get most of your supplies for this journal? If that is not asking to much, especially the burlap that you used. I love that color!! Thanks so much for sharing. Linda
Awesome! I get most of my supplies from Amazon. However the purple burlap and the ivy leaves were from walmart.
Thank you for the information, how kind of you to do so. @@passionsofpaper
Can something like this realistically be accomplished with glue, if we don't have a sewing machine?
There are some pretty strong glues out there. Fabritack is something most people recommend, especially for fabric covers without sewing. I personally couldn't stand it and only use Art Glitter brand glue. It's super strong, and I've never had it come apart when I glue fabric to stuff without sewing. Although be careful when gluing fabric. If it's thin fabric, the glue will show right through it if it's not a super thin layer of glue. But maybe fabritack doesn't show through. I don't know.
Do you ever incorporate a hard spine or do you only sew the signatures to the fabric.
My latest video (yesterday) was a journal made with a file folder and thick fabric, making the cover flexible yet firm.

Where do you get all of your trims? Please
Hobby Lobby, JoAnns and Amazon
Could you share where you get the digitals for your fairy journals? Thank you
Lianascrap, InkandPageJournals and MyPorchaprints all on Etsy.
