Lots of ways of doing the same thing - smelting / refining gold .
One of these days I would like to find / or do myself - record the cost of energy [ materials needed for smelting refining ] and see what is the cheapest method - with the least was to dispose of , to get gold .
In my past mining , I was getting large enough raw gold to not worry / bother with non-free gold .
In the future , I expect to rely on fine gold & non-free gold to deal with some of these process's - kinda doing / or soon now , away from gold mining area and doing electronics scraping as a side of electronics repair .
Some of my sources of info are that on the small scale of mining / scraping , it can be common that scrap produces more per ton from scrap than mining - small scale , unless I can get back to dredging in no. Cal.

I knew the the OSB was a bad idea from the second I saw the start of the video. I have cast lead fishing lures for 35 years there is a temp where the lead will turn gold in color, but goes away as cools or you slag it off the top. I think that is more where turning lead to gold comes from. I was nice that you made it known how much time and supplies the takes.

can you use the cupel again and if so how many times

Nearly all cupels are made for single use. They can usually absorb up to 70% of their weight in lead so it is advised you don't reuse because they can crack when reheated or stick to the hearth of your furnace if you exceed its lead absorption capacity. They're reasonably cheap so it's best to use a new one every time for best results.

Patric platinum group metals as iridium rhodium are also atracted by lead during burning?

Ok so you started with ore, con's. Lead in a flux? How much lead do you add? I had stuff assayed. I just did several smelts. I got cupels but they crumbled. So waiting on better. I tried just portland cement packed and a torch. Got a mixed metal button. Was told to flatten put in hot Nitric to remove other metals, rinse and AR the solids. Is this correct? Kind of question, the cupel can take its weight in lead. Does the cupel also absorb the copper in prill? When smelting does the lead also grab iron? I roast everything first, since also have sulfides. Thanks on video.

was that from 30 g of the ore , or was it 30 g of the magnetic part taken from the roasted sulfide?

Hello, teacher, thank you for the videos you make, teacher, I am talking to you with the Google Translate program, I am following your programs from Iran, is there a way to talk to you through WhatsApp or Telegram, and the teachings of extracting gold from stone and soil and let me see, please guide this person, firstly, what kind of stones contain gold, pink or brown quartz stones, after how we in Iran can recognize these stones in the mountains, it means that this type of stone has a special characteristic, after the stones We found it and then we ground the stones in order to extract the primary metal from the inside of the stone. What should be the help of smelting, i.e. borax + charcoal (the same carbon) + caustic soda + baking soda? Let's mix the milled stone. I don't know exactly what the smelting aids are. Yes, lead, copper, and silver are also smelting aids, but I need this work. I must learn to extract the primary metal from the soil. Please help me from zero to Please give me some advice on this

Was interesting to watch and liked your explanations of chemistry etc but seems a WHOLE lotta work and cost for 3 grams end product. But it's a hobby eh? Ever hear of panning for gold?
