I am rebuilding the complete tub of my 2007 TD4 with parts from the Ronnies, except the bottom plate.
Arches, side-panels, bottom plate, rearend-panels, floor endcaps,cappings, light clusters etc.
At least I could save the subframes by sandblasting, priming and painting them.
The galvanically isolation between all parts I’ll do by 1 mm selfmade rubber sleeves and gaskets. Screws are treated with PTFE. Endless story😊
Hope to pick up the 3 mm sills personally from Hamsterley soon, to save some P&P to Munich🤣

Cherry picked a few products for my current '85 110 rebuild ... cheers to YRM for being decent enough to do an honest show of their efforts.
I’ve used their parts for our series restorations in Australia, very happy with the quality.

I'm at the start of a Defender 90 restoration with my Son, we've got a heap of YRM parts so far, brackets, fasteners, bushings, galv and SS parts. Excelent quality parts and the dimensional quality of their pars and repair brackes/parts are very tightly controlled. Axle repair brackets are in much thicker material, very accurate and get rid of the cheap LR doubler plates that were never seal welded all round and rot out. I have quite a few orders in the pipeline to come I suspect! Rear axle restoration next stop with shock and trailing arm brackets from YRM
Brilliant bunch. Great products. Will be shopping with them again soon. Now need to find a very large roll of that 1mm rubber they use for their gaskets.
I have made a point in replacing parts on my Land Rover to parts that Land Rover should have made in the first place. I know by buying parts from YRM I am buying possibility the best parts out there for my Defender Puma. Funny though, listening to their ethos and how they started, is how I have started looking at things like Light Bezels. I have developed light bezels that I have now had on my Defender for over three years and the look as good as they did, the day I put them on. Get in touch if you are interested.

I recently replaced the underseat tool box in my series III with YRM bits; like a glove, easy repair, excellent service too. Recommended.

I've spent thousands of pounds on parts from YRM, for my 1982 109 Station Wagon, and 1974 88 Station Wagon, which is my daily driver.
They are top quality, and have always been less fettling to fit. You just don't get better in my opinion.

I’ve used quite a few parts to restore both Series & Defenders. YRM repair parts & panels are better than original and well thought out for ease of DIY installation.

Although the original ‘aluminium’ panels are thinner, just bear in mind, they were actually made from Birmabright which is an aluminium alloy that is harder and more durable than bare aluminium.
YRM certainly seem to have good products with sound engineering adaptations/improvements.
I get that even without the steel nearby! If I hadn't given away all my money I could have had my LR to this spec. I'll just have to keep patching mine up now. Just peeeed right off! Selfish kids eh?
I'm on doing a 130 so I've checked out their website out and think it's amazing and has a great ethos, I did previously wonder if they did a complete package like a kit car due to the amount of panels they do, I wonder if maybe the could start reproducing defenders.
Probably could but JLR would have them in court before it was finished.
I discovered that the Himalaya Defenders are actually made in Britain, then shipped over. Does anyone know who is behind it for the US firm - who is fabricating them in the UK?

You really need to reshoot this video, walking us around a Defender as each part is shown and described. Currently, although your video is interesting, it's too much like one of those visual puzzles where we see a picture of a part shown totally out of context and are left to guess what it is that's being talked about 🤷♂️
Totally agree. We're picking up our project Defender this weekend and will be going back over a few videos to clarify parts and fitting guides.
