Me too had a Skoda Fabia 2012 petrol varient. Did 125651 km on it. Extremely reliable. Infact, clutch plate tak nahi badal ni padi hai abhi tak.

I think that this particular piece of Jetta has some issues bcoz I have never heard a German car which is not very reliable but are decent enough if we talk about reliability. I also own a VW Jetta which is 2008 model and is running very very well.Overall the car has good build quality, features and is fun to drive

Clutch , suspension, gearbox , steering eps , AC overhaul, turbo , electrical parts etc etc all are prone to damage with 10 years old model and 1lakh+ kms . Iski jagah koi aur car bi hoti tb bi ye sb dikkat ane ki high chances hote.

German cars are very good, but not for Indian running conditions. The road quality, fuel quality and even air quality in India is not good to support these high end German cars. For Indian conditions buy Japanese or Korean. Because there is no point of German build quality if half of the time the car is sitting in the workshop and burning a hole in your pocket. There are good Japanese/Korean cars which are good in terms of safety also. Buy those cars.
