I know someone in my family who worked as a HOD for Maruti Suzuki service center and he earned lot of money from that job somehow, I am not sure what activities they do there but he managed to buy a 2 crore flat in Delhi and also now he left the job and opened two showrooms of Bajaj auto and one True Value showroom recently.. I am telling you this coz these people make their customers fool and churn lot of money from them..these people majorly make money on car parts and engine oil..

My first car was Alto K10 vxi in 2015. Bought it a few days after my engagement. DROVE 75000 Km in 3 years. Bought it for 400000. Sold it for 2,60,000. After that bought i20 Asta 1 week after my child was born as I was worried about the safety of my family in K10. Driven that 90k in 2.5 years. Now shall sell and buy a compact SUV.

Ever since I have started getting service from trustworthy outside mechanic, ownership cost of swift vdi has drastically come down.
It all depends on driving finally. My baleno is 6+ years old... Still drives like a new car.. no gear changing on any speed... Never broke down... I love maruti for it's durability. Service is 6-8k per year
My ecosport service cost is always between 4.5k to 7k. It is 2016 model. Done 80+K kms
Labor costs form 50% or greater of the service bill in Maruti service... that's why you end up with a higher bill.

Thank God, I was about to purchase Baleno, but purchased used toyota etios. Service cost is very low near to 3k to 3.5k and highly stable on highways 😊

Dear I am using maruti car for the last 20 years and never exprience that its service is costly living in chandigarh. My first car was maruti 800 . 2nd car Alto 800/ 2007 model then K10 and now ignis Zeta 2017 model and always purchase 2nd hand car. Service never cost more then 2500 if it is routine service at present. How ever chandigarh is costly city. Never experienced any unwanted charges are included in the bill always take comprehensive insurance and prefer to get my car serviced from agency or maruti authorised workshop and always nicely treated at the service center. Cost of service is the lowest if we compare it with other brands of car. Thanks.

I also had this car. It was a nice car. After completion of 5 years I sold that car. Then I took Ford Figo on August '20 due to safety reasons.

Alto K10 is good car. I see it as four wheeled version of a scooty. Go anywhere kind of vehicle. 1 Ltr engine makes it perfect in its segment.

Why to go to Maruti authorised service centre, owning Maruti the main advantage is one can simply stop visiting authorised service centre once the warranty period is over, change oil n filters and simply drive it, suspension जाए यां क्लच सारे MGP easily available in open market, one just need to have one reliable and genuinely good mechanic or workshop

Rohit bhai. Kal shaam ko main aapni Ertiga service center leke gaya tha. Kuch kuch laag gai thi to maine socha ki estimate banwa lu..
Right rear view mirror change karane ka socha, 6K ka plus paint and fitting. Auto folding wala bhi nahi hain. Manually band karna padta hain.
Piche Dickey main dent tha, unhone bola ki change ki karna hoga because sheet patli hain, denting main faat jaegi. Uski cost 12k plus paint and fitting.
Main ghar aaya wapis. Mirror ka bahar ka dhakkan double tape se chipkaya aur piche dent pe sticker laga dunga.
Haalke se plastic ke liye loot macha rakhi hain Maruti waalo ne.
Mileage of Alto K10 and Tigor is same ... It shows that Tata engines r more efficient, despite more body weight..
Maruti is cheap is every sense. Cheap to buy, cheap to maintain, cheap in looks, cheap in quality and over all super cheap in safety.
For the yearly maintenance of my 12 year old Alto K10 I was told, "Sir 9k to kam se kam lagega". Labour charges at official service centers are insane. Definitely not cheap by any measure.

Minimum 9 to 10 k service bill for Alto K10 Lxi CNG, if you go to any service center in Delhi NCR, they all are charging this much. This includes Engine Oil change, air filter change, CNG filter change and wheel balancing and alignment. If you are unexperienced then they will add extra items like additives, etc and further increase the amount

I also have k10. Very pocket friendly car. Specifically its engine its 1ltr. Refine and peppy. Only flaw is its built quality. Otherwise it's very good car.

Mere paas v tha Alto K10. And now shifted to Nexon. And now survived from a major accident without any harm to me. Now thinking, thanks God I changed the car on time.
If new generation Alto is coming, I wish MS brings back the K10 series engine as an option for the buyers. A middle class family spending few thousand rupees more for a better and little powerful engine will worth it. The 800cc engine not powerful enough for a small family of 4-5 people.
In suzuki brand, Alto & Scross are my favorite cars. Alto looks beautiful and is a fully practical car. For a first time user isse badhiya to kuch ho hi nahi sakta.

My celerio 2019 Petrol is giving with AC wkg 20.2 kmph. It's driving skill . And experience no engine noise. Tiago is somewhat features car but no one disagree as having engine noise and vib.

Labour charges for Maruti Suzuki service is around ₹2000. Even if you do normal service which includes oil change, oil filter, air filter, brake cleaning, they charge ₹2000 for that service while spares cost comes to near about ₹1500. Also the service centers convince you to do other stuffs whose labour charge costs more than the part cost. Moreover GST is charged on each item & even on labour charges. This is the reason for high amount of bill. If you check the service calcultor on maruti Suzuki website or Maruti rewards app it will show the exact amount of bill excluding taxes.

Hello brother🙏. You make very nice videos which help many buyers to make right decision👍. According to me Alto K10 is a very worth to money car. I fully agree that Maruti brand has actually very poor image in quality perspective. But this car is actually very capable if seen little deeper into. I too have 2017 model and driven 1,30,000 kms and still touchwood she goes everywhere with full energy. Very peppy engine. I actually got broader tires on rims from 155/65 r13 to 175/60 r13 on stock rims and few more tasteful customisation . I get service done on time and cycle will go on like this only. I will also say that she is at least better than those tins swift, baleno, wagon r.

My Ford fiesta diesel service very cheap. oil full synthetic 1600₹, oem oil filter 370₹ Air filter 270₹, diesel filter 1300₹ change After 40000 km change= 3540 ₹ all work done myself .
