I try not to rank bats, but my personal favorites at this point are: anything M2, M5, or MX Monsta (I game the KoD), then the proton hot butter as the temps drop, and then after that, there are a lot of really good bats available these days. Just comes down to personal preference
No. The barrels feel the same to me. My understanding is that the M5 is exactly the same as the M2, except they are wrapped instead of painted. I feel like the M2 models scaled heavier (and felt a bit heavier), but other than that, they have all felt the same to me. The MX feels like an M5, which feels like an M2. They are all ⛽️
@DLeagueBP I've only ever swung an M2 blacksheep. That's good to hear though. I'd be curious to see if the MX breaks in faster, slower, or about the same as the M2/M5
I’m just spinning wheels in my head and thinking about the Mx tech. m2 was sprayed on. M5 is wrapped. So I’m assuming Mx tech is the same. Just the handle is wrapped now. So I’m thinking it’s all the same just modifying graphics
You may be on to something here. After all, when you have the best bat in the game, why would you change it? After all, I can't imagine it being significantly better and still getting a USA stamp
Doesn’t the bat your using have the alloy handle? I ask because my Son ordered the 2024 Torch with alloy handle (5000). I ordered the 2025 Torch 3500 composite stiff handle.
@bigdogtim7998 this one is a composite handle (3500 or 3900, I don't recall which). I did a review on an M5 Torch with an alloy handle. Thought they performed very similarly
I know I'm probably going to get some pushback from some folks, but right now, I'm willing to die on this hill. M2 = M5 = MX I don't think you can make the M2 any hotter and still have it pass certification, and why would you change the best bat in the market? M2 was painted, M5 was wrapped, and MX apparently was tweaked to allow it to break in quicker. Put 400 to 500 swings on any of them and they are absolute rocket launchers
I just pre ordered the Mx 25oz with alloy, currently gaming the Easton alpha 26oz. I’m 5’9” 160lbs and not a home run hitter and wanted something mid load and a little lighter. Looking forward to getting it. Thanks for all the reviews!
I am using 25oz KOD 1/2oz end load love it. And too 4 bats USA/ASA KOD, and any suncoast bat
Thanks for the video! What would your top 4 bats be at the moment?

Where did you get your pitching machine from and what brand may I ask?
Blue flame pitching machine by Louisville Slugger
Can I ask what that pitching machine is? Would love to get for practice!

Can you feel any difference between the M2, M5 and MX composites?
No. The barrels feel the same to me.

One of the pros told me all they did for the MX is tweek it so it is faster break-in. Probably changed to a softer glue
Any major difference in feel and performance: composite handle or alloy handle with this new 2024 MX Torch?
Unfortunately, I can't answer that question as I haven't swung the alloy handle Monsta yet

@ thx for the info.
@@DLeagueBPI have a monsta kod with alloy handle. I suggest trying one. They are great. 50 swings in and the kod was amazing. Turned into my gamer
How is the Mx compared to an M2

@@DLeagueBPgood to know. Thank you for the feedback back. And the videos
Wow, the sand batters box has got to be irritating. You may want to invest in a mat and they definitely work well.
It's on my "to-buy" list. Good ones can be pricey, but I'll pick one up eventually
You should try the new SB APS next bro
@wiseguy8658 👍
You still gaming the KOD?
Yes. But mostly because it is fully broken in at this point

What do you use to track ball speed and where did you get it?
Pocket Radar
