Completely agree with you! My current bat lineup for our coed team is a Monsta KOD, Aurora, Worth Bedlam, Krecher, Demarini Mercy, and Miken Freak Primo. Monsta KOD MX coming soon! Your reviews, A+A Bat Reviews, and The Bat Hound reviews have made it easier for our team to decide which bats we’re going with. And so far they’ve all done amazing!
That is an excellent lineup! I, too, have an MX KoD reserved, but I don't expect to see it for quite some time. Our fall season starts in a few weeks, and perhaps I'll do a short video about the six bats I pack for league night
Both great bats. Comes down to personal preference. Biggest differences imo: Alpha is traditional end load, even though it feels a bit lighter than a .5oz to me. I wouldn't call the Aurora balanced, but it definitely doesn't feel like an end load to me. Also, I noticed a bit of flex in the Alpha handle, none in Aurora
I suppose in Layman's terms, yes. The weight is noticeably in the middle of the bat. Just above the connection point. But it doesn't feel like Monsta's midload to me. So, that's probably what's throwing me off on trying to adequately describe it. I have swung lots of end loads, lots of balanced, but when I think about it, Monsta may be the only midload I have tried. I will have to fix that when I get the chance
This bat had a really good swing on it. Great sound and great pop can't wait to swing this one again and the Bob Ross paint job is freaking awesome

You think there is meat in barrel ? Less in handle ... You can weight a balanced and have meat in the barrel and still not be EL ...
If I wasn't comparing it to how Monsta's midload feels, I would probably call it a midload. If that helps at all
