Can somebody tell me what bridge that is or wear that intersection is? I've been looking for a while just using open source to try and figure out where it is between Savannah Georgia and Tybee island, but maybe it's been demolished.
i have ptsd and felt the movie gave a lot of credit to the victim/former survivor ... and even I felt robbed of an ending that made more sense like the one here. . dude, u should have kept it. a healthy flirtatious relationship that WORKS and made the Madeleine character felt safe was* the point that was needed, and you made it. He was a good fit for something more for her too. You had TWO strong women in the movie. They both deserved good men.
I liked the movie and this strange "romance" does not fit in at all. My opinion. Besides, the movie is already packed with stories and all that comes out during the investigation. No need for a stupid romance on top of it. It was good that the focus remained on the investigation. I liked the movie very much although the story is bizarre, a very unusual crime. And the music is also fantastic.
I think the scenes would have helped the movie. The movie has some really violent and fetishistic elements, and a loving, (somewhat) healthy romance involving the lead characters would have centered things a bit and made the film less freaky.
I disagree with the director's decision of cutting out John and Madeline's characters scene just because it doesn't fit At least, it would've spiced up the romance in what really was a very flawed movie.

Being a former Army Military Policeman I loved this movie.
A woman loves a man with humor. A man loves a woman who is straight forward and doesnt play mind games

It was a good film but a huge letdown at the end. This ending would have helped with continuity and made the film a solid B+
