This one was right in my back yard. I'm about 7 miles North of Athens, half an hour away from the guidestones, roughly the same distance the other way to Watkinsville. Outstanding!

Awesome video, sir! Thank you for showing the Georgia Guidestones; reminds me of Stonehenge. That course must rock with you and Dave Canterbury as instructors. Oh, to be young again. I have 61 years of outdoor experience and would love to relive so many memories. The training reminded me of the field medical disaster (C-130 crash filled with troops) training I went through in the woods of Alabama, fires everywhere, people screaming and moaning, cries for help and all the while the adrenalin flowing like a heavy rain. God, I loved it! Keep giving us quality videos, please!!

Really enjoy your videos. Slowly catching up on all of your content. Really started backpacking Co about 3 years ago. Just a newbie doing his best, getting out there and learning. You've showed me SO MUCH about reducing my pack weight by eliminating a lot of the crap commercial places tell me I need. Shelters vs tents, carved stakes vs aluminum ones, Mora knife vs big Mossy oak Bowie etc. My trip this year to San Isabel lake should end in success. Hard not to get green packing 65 lbs, from TX, getting out off truck and heading up. I've learned I those conditions not to hike harder than I can breathe. I try to keep the conversation up to help monitor the breathing of the people around me. If you can't breathe you don't wanna talk I find. Got any tips for flat landers managing elevation? I live at 460'. We get out of the truck at 8800' and begin our hike up to 13,200'.

Kelly, your trip to Georgia looks like U had a fun time.. Your video of places u went to visit was nice.. There was some great history that U videoed, like the stone monument.. Those three big long stone pillars standing up looked nice.. I also could see the different kind of writing on them as well.. Great shot. How many men were with U at that wildness training campsite? How many test did they have to complete in one day? Did they have to make an outhouse for them to use or was there one already available for they. One of my test was to dig a hole & make an outhouse for me to use.. This was when I was a Girl Scouts.. We had to do it & it was no fun.. After using it, & if we were not going to use it again, we had to proper filling in the hole.. It was some good training.. Thank U for sharing this video with all of us...
